The doll

It was a quiet after noon and it was just me and my mom home like always. i wasn't to excited due to it being my birthday and usually i don't get anything. my family doesn't have a lot of money so I don't expect anything. My mom suddenly called me down she said, "Maggie! Time for your presents!" I immediately become confused. I run down the stairs into the living room and shed a box that wasn't to large but wasn't to small. I gasp at the sight of it. I immediately ask to open it and my mom says I could. As I tear off the wrapping paper I can see words on the box. "Beautiful" and "she can talk!" I get so excited. Once the wrapping paper was torn off there was a beautiful porcelain doll she had, brown glass eyes, blonde curly hair, and a gorgeous crème colored dress with layers and white lace. I scream at the sight of her and how beautiful she is. I run into my room to open her. A few minutes of struggling later I have her in my hands.

<time skip to bed time>

I'm about to go to bed but before I do that I put my doll on my dresser and fall alseep.

<time skip to morning>

I wake up and see the doll has moved. Instead of being on my dresser she was on my desk, I think about how I probably moved her last night without realizing it. I go to eat breakfast and walk back into my room. When I walk back into my room I see to red eyes staring at me, when I walk towards them the room turned pitch black. I scream but no sounds come out. Once the lights turn on I see the doll sitting on my bed with i knife in its hand. I run into the garage with the doll and grab a hammer and start smashing it over and over again.

<time skip to afternoon>

I'm eating a ham and cheese sandwich as I think about how creepy that doll was. After I tell my mom everything she says, "yea I'm glad you threw her away".
