Astrid and Merida arrived at the camp and ran up to Anna and Elsa, their friends. Unlike everyone on the right side of The Wall, Elsa and Anna were sisters. However, they were not very similar in appearance. Elsa had white hair and blue eyes. Some people called her ice warrior. Her gaze was cold as ice, but her heart had hidden fire inside. A fire that only a few people got to see, even if it were for just a moment. Astrid became close to Elsa because of this, her heart became cold since what had happened to Rose, but it still maintained hidden heat inside. Then, there was Anna. A red head full of joy who only saw the good in people. Such a phenomenon was very strange given the environment these girls grew up in. Anna's gaze was warm; but her heart was frozen.

Despite their differences, the sisters loved each other very much and would die for the other if necessary. They were the same age as Astrid and Merida; Elsa being the oldest of the bunch. For age reasons, they had trained together.

- "Watch it." Elsa hissed.

- "Well that's a way to greet your friends, Elsa." Merida responded, widening her eyes.

- "Sorry. It's been a stressful week."

- "I know. You two volunteered for the expedition to the left side of The Wall."

- "Thank Anna for that." added the older. "She wanted to go by herself, but she wouldn't last a day without me." Astrid grinned at the ground, remembering the countless times Anna had gotten into trouble for her dangerous curiousness.

- "And it is true!" the younger sister exclaimed. "I might be one of the best soldiers on this side of The Wall, but Elsa is always the one who got me out of trouble." The red-head admitted while she sharpened her blade.

Astrid feared for the lives of her friends after she was told they had volunteered for the expedition. She would never forget the sheer fear that went through her body when she heard the warriors coming back shouting they had lost Rose.

- "You know, even though you volunteered, there's a chance you won't make the cut. You might not be chosen." Astrid chose to hold onto hope. Even if it meant lying to herself."

- "That's a good thing to hear." Elsa worried.

- "My sister and I are one of the best warriors around here! We have to get chosen."

- "You never know with that rat Jasmine around." Elsa and Astrid snickered at Merida's comment. She would never miss a chance to shade the older.

- Does anybody know where Rapunzel is? Anna asked

Rapunzel was one of the best known warriors of this side of The Wall. She had impressive fight skills and knew how to lead. She and Astrid were in constant competition with each other. However, she was always given special treatment over the others. Some speculated it was because of her astounding looks. Her short brown hair and beautiful green eyes. It was safe to say, she was the cause of envy in every girl her age on the right side of The Wall and she was aware of it. Nonetheless, she tried to reject any help that was unfairly offered to her. The girls did not care about this. Special treatment or not. They treated her as their equal.

- "She is with her aunt, Belle." Elsa answered.

- "Oh, right."

The reason Rapunzel got special treatment was because of her aunt, the political leader and commander of the right side of The Wall. Rapunzel was kind, but cold. Everyone on the right side was. The excessive and hard training since young, people close to your heart being sent to the other side to never be seen again..it leaves a mark on everyone.

- "We should get going. They are about to announce the warriors." Elsa broke the silence and the girls started walking towards the announcement centre. Astrid and Elsa slowed down a bit and that was when Astrid decided to unburden her thoughtful mind.
