Trapped After Dark

Chapter 1

Alana's POV

As we entered the park the excitement bubbled over as we ran toward the castle. We were practically bouncing off the walls as we waited in line for 'Snow White's Scary Adventures'. We saw the Evil Queen looking down from her window, and it looked like she was looking right at us.

"I'm so excited!!!" Squealed Willow

"I know right, but when do we get to go to California Adventure? They have all the good rides." My friend Evangeline said.

As we came to California for this Disney adventure, we traveled with a group of friends. Including Evangeline and Willow.

Evangeline, or Evan as we call her for short, had cropped dirty blonde hair and a snarky attitude. She was into art like painting and drew several Disney inspired pieces. She also plays several sports like hockey and softball.

Willow is Evangeline's twin sister. She has shoulder length blonde hair that is paired with an easygoing and sweet attitude. She is also into drama and enjoys reading.

My name is Alana. I am fifteen years old and I live in Huntington Beach CA. I have known Willow and Evangeline since, well forever and our parents have known each-other since elementary school. I have long blonde hair and I am totally obsessed with Disney. Both me and my friends have a little brother. My brother, Eric is ten years old with brown hair and is really annoying. My parents James and Makayla, dote on him often. Buz is Evangeline and Willow's younger brother. He has dirty blonde hair and is nine years old. Their parents are Sam and Katherine.

"We go over to California Adventure tomorrow Evan." Mr. Sam says as we board the ride.

We see several dwarfs and we encounter the Evil Queen multiple times. She is giving me the creeps.

Our next stop is the Mad Hatter's Hat Shop and we all get a pair of ears. Mine is a silver sequin ears and a gold bow with a silver jeweled castle in the middle. After we purchase some ears, we head over to Tomorrow land and ride Autotopia for our younger brothers, Space Mountain, Star Tours, and Buzz Lightyear Blasters. Out of all of those rides, Space Mountain was definitely my favorite.

We head over to Frontier Land and get a Dole Whip and watch the Tiki Room. We head over to Indiana Jones and get stuck on the ride for half an hour because the ride broke down. I love this ride, however it brakes down so often. It is worth it though.

After riding Pirates of the Caribbean we stop for a snack getting bennes's and mint juleps. We ride Haunted mansion and Splash Mountain.

On Splash Mountain I sat in the front resulting in my jeans and sweater being soaked to the bone. We stop at a shop by the ride so I can get a pair of leggings and a t-shirt so I will not be soaked the entire day.

As night draws closer, we stop for dinner and arrive on Main Street just in time for the parade. We saw floats and dancers and crazy stuff but our brothers fell asleep right before the fireworks. Willow, Evan and I begged our parents to stay and watch them and ride a few more rides and they agreed. Our mom's took the boys home while we stayed with our dads.

We rode Space Mountain one more time, rode the Matterhorn and watched the fireworks when we stopped to use the bathroom.

"Ok girls, we will be out here and then we will go." My dad said as we nodded and agreed.

When we walked out, our dads were nowhere in sight. We waited a little more until all the lights shut off and the park closed down.

We were stranded.
