10. Family

Harriette pov:
Cj came home first, her hair had slight curls now and she had a few of those little braids in her hair.
"Love the new style Cj." I said and she smiled.
"Just wait a moment." she said with a grin and dad was behind her... with short hair?!
My jaw dropped and dad glared at me.
"I don't want a single word out of you." he sissed and Cj chuckled.
He walked to Harry's door and put a small box in front of it.
He knocked but didn't get a reply.
"What did he-?" I asked and Cj smiled.
"I'll explain when Harry's out of his room." she said and we both saw how dad walked back downstairs, he sat down in his usual chair and actually fiddled with his hook a bit.
Harry's door open a tiny bit and we saw how his hand grabbed the tiny box.
"What's in the-?" I said softly
"Hair growing potion." Cj said before I could finish my question.

It took a while but Harry did came out of his room and his brown messy hair was back on his head.
"Harry!" Cj said and she hugged him.
"Hey sis..."
Harry looked towards dad who pretended he didn't care.
But Harry's jaw dropped when he saw dad with short hair.

"You should've seen his face when Tremaine said it! It was so hilarious!" Cj said as she was telling us what happened.
"Unbelievable he did that." I said.
"I'm still in the same room y'know." dad said and Harry turned to him.
"Hey dad...?"
"What?"
"Thank you... I mean it."
Dad tried to hide his smile and Cj looked up.
"Does this mean we're a happy family now?"
"No!" dad said instantly and Cj pouted.
"Oh come on!" she said and I laughed so hard that I fell off my chair.
Cj was still pouting and Harry gave her a nudge.
She was trying not to smile but after the second nudge, a smile appeared on her face.
I saw how dad was smiling of how our bo d was.
"THERE'S A SMILE ON DAD'S FACE! HE IS SMILING!" I yelled and Cj looked up.
"Oh my god, the myths are true! We have to take a picture!"
Dad looked instantly grumpy again and he turned to us.
"I wouldn't be caught dead with a smile." he said and Harry chuckled.
Dad rolled his eyes and Harry looked at him.
"Just admit it. You secretly love us."
"I'm not going to deny, neither confirm it." he said and I grinned.
"I'll take that as a yes." I said and Cj smiled.
"Yea! We finally did it!"
"I SAID I DIDN'T CONFIRM IT!" dad said with annoyance and Harry smirked.
"You didn't deny it either."
"You'd think I'd do this if I didn't care about the three of you. Cj was worried about you, Harriette made me talk to you and then this happend. Happy now?" dad said and I looked at him.
"Very."
