I never thought it would be me

He was tall, dark, handsome. Just as described

And I was a failure, often prescribed

He was the king of his castle, admired by all

I was a savage, destined to fall

Why did he choose me, what did I do wrong?

Happy to wish, fill the winds with a dove's song

Now I'm broken, left alone

He remains on the throne

I was fine until the light entered the darkest part of the trees

Wild, crazy, and fully free

I never had felt my heart thumping in my chest

Now I place my hand against it just to check
