The Beach Walk

You answer your phone as soon as it begins ringing. It was a day off work and you have been sitting in your apartment all day, eating pizza and watching your favorite Netflix series.
"Hey Ni!" you answer cheerfully.
"Hey (y/n)!" you recognize Niall's voice right away.
"Did you have any plans tonight?"
"Nope, today's been pretty lazy," you laugh, "today has been completely free for me, and pretty boring."
"Well, I have something in mind that can change this boring day into the most epic day ever."
Niall tells you to dress casual, and to wear some comfy shoes. You two would be exploring and sight seeing along the cliffs of Northern California this evening! You are so excited and can't wait to see the beautiful sunsets, and your even more beautiful boyfriend.
You quickly shower, dry and put your hair in a messy bun, do a little makeup, and throw on a pair of jeans and your favorite sweater. You're all ready for a wonderful night with Niall.
Your phone vibrates and you assume it's Niall.
"I'm out front," his text reads.
You quickly run downstairs, grab your bag, and you're out the door.
As you enter the car, Niall smiles and greets you with a kiss on the cheek.
He's wearing jeans, a black t-shirt, and a leather jacket. His hair is neatly pushed up in the front- your favorite. He looks amazing.
"So, where exactly are we headed?" you ask curiously.
"You'll see babe," replies Niall, "I already know you'll love it."
You drive in Niall's large black Range Rover for about a half an hour until you pull up to what looks like the most beautiful place you've ever been.
You step out of the car and see the turquoise ocean below a beautiful cliff that you are both standing on. you guys are so high up, and the huge mass of water stretches out as far as your eyes can see. From here, you can see all along the coast of California and the rocky shore below.
Niall snaps you out of your amazement as he places his arm around your waist.
"Beautiful, isn't it?"
"Yes, it's beyond beautiful, this is the most gorgeous place I have ever seen," you reply as you continue to stare out at the ocean. "This should be our new secret escape spot!"
Niall giggles.
"I knew you would love it."
You sit between Niall's legs as he wraps his hands around your waist. You quietly talk about your dreams. Where you want to travel, things you want to experience, and sights you wish to see. As the sun begins to set, you and Niall stand up and walk hand in hand towards the edge of the cliff.
As you look into Niall's eyes (which match the ocean perfectly, you note) he slowly leans in. You close your eyes.
Suddenly, you loose your balance as Niall shoves you off the side of the cliff.
"Whelp, that was a long time comin'." He whistles to himself as he speeds away in his car.
