His head was throbbing, it had been hours, which felt like years, since Viktor had eaten anything or even taken a nap. His work taken the lead for the week, or well month. Viktor will admit to maybe pushing himself a little too far this month but he had to, from Jayce doing back to back meetings to back to back parties, if Viktor didnt take the lead Hextech would be a lost cause. So he sat, he wrote, he studied and he worked. He worked on their Hextech dream, Viktor scoffed at the thought, loosely fiddling with the bandage on his bandaged up arm, our Hextech dream Jayce had said to him all those years ago. He believed him then, he still does believe him, but as of late he maybe saw Jayce twice over the last two months, but Jayce was right, it was their Hextech dream and he was happy to help, to do the majority of the work if he had to, though Jayce did surprise him with his worth ethnic (before the last two months) often staying up as late as Viktor or skipping meals like Viktor did, though at the end of the day he would force the smaller man to eat something when he ate. Which lead to Jayce trying not to skip meals because he knew if he did his partner wouldnt eat. Viktor knew his tricks by now, he knew it wasnt worth fighting when Jayce brought back an extra sandwhich or his favourite sweet milk. At the start, once Jayce noticed his partner's bad habits Viktor had tried to fight him off, to deny the extra food or the arm on his shoulder telling him to sleep, he really did try. Viktor didnt like pity, or hand outs, he even thought Jayce was making fun of him, thinking he was a poor undercity man who couldnt afford food or a watch to tell him its bedtime. It took months, for viktor to notice that the small smiles, the squeeze on his arms were thoughtful, caring and kind. He meant him no harm, Viktor knows that now, he knows Jayce is trying his best to make Viktor a friend. Well was trying before he practically disappeared.

Viktor couldn't help but feel himself grow a little resentful, the inward fight he was having with himself, from happy to do all the work to being annoyed with the overload of work. He knew Jayce had important things to do, but he couldn't stop the weak side of him from coming and being resentful, am I not important? He thought before snapping out of an angry trance. He knew better then to think he was more then a colleague to Jayce. He cursed himself for believing that Jayce was his friend, he cursed himself for having hope that he had someone else in his life.

He hadn't seen jayce since two Mondays ago, and it was Sunday night now- its Sunday night? - Viktor shook his head, attempting to empty it from anything that wasn't hextech. He tried not to notice the sting his heart felt when thinking of Jayce, he tried not to link it to the thought of maybe im missing him. He shook his head again. "Do you have lice or something?" a voice spoke with a laugh, startling Viktor where he sat at his desk, scribbling in an ineligible hand writing of his native language "w-what?" he said, spinning his chair around to see Jayce standing in the doorframe "You shook your head twice since I've opened the door, thinking maybe you're trying to fling the lice out?" he laughed again, a laugh so loud and warm Viktor tried to push anger out over any other questionable feeling. "I do not have lice, im not as dirty as you think" he spat, maybe a little too anger filled as he noticed Jayce's expression completely change to what he thought may be worry "n-no of course not! youre not... it was a shitty joke" he admitted, scratcing the back of his neck awkwardly. "I uh... what are you doing here anyway, its like 2am" Jayce said, attempting to move the conversation onward. Viktor took the bait, admitting to himself that he took the friendly jab a little too personal. But how could he not? He was feeling all types of confused as of late, these last few Jayce free months giving him too much time to... feel.

Viktor sighed "I am working, something you wouldnt know too much about" He attempted a-bit of humour, offering a sad exuse of a smile to his partner. Jayce laughed lightly "Hey, I've been doing the real leg work, you think trying to be polite and trying not to burst into angry tears in the middle of an unnesscery party is easy? well Viktor do I have a story for you" he laughed again, god does he ever stop being perfect? Viktor coughed, cringing slightly at his own intrusive thoughts. How could he betray himself like that, glacing at jayce he saw the man squint a little at him. "I eh, thought you enjoyed those parties no?" Viktor questioned, tilting his head slightly to the man who moved to be standing infront of him now, arms crossed, a loose smile hanging from his face "Also you cried?" The thought of Jayce crying at a piltie party made him laugh slightly. He doesnt blame him, the few parties Viktor tortured himself by attending he too felt like bursting into tears, he felt like grabbing his clane and swinging it to knock someone out, not caring if the force would also make him fall. The senario made him smile. "I cried yes, but no one saw. Well I dont think they did anyway. I just got so frustrated and had to leave..." Jayce sighed, now walking to stand beside Viktor's chair, facing the table in which victor had spun round from. "Now I'm here" he spoke again, loosely moving some pages around the table Jayce spoke "I'd ask what you're working on and if you needed help but I dont understand the symbols" Viktor noted the change in subject.
