Chapter 13

(Eliza POV)  
Today has been really peaceful and I don’t think anyone could ruin it. “Dang it my dad is calling me”, Alex says and puts his phone on speaker so we could all hear. Perhaps I spoke too soon.

"Alex, you need to come home quickly. Hamilton is being taken to the vet." Washington says frantically. Wait what? Who's Hamilton? And why is he/she/they named after Alex?

 “On my way dad-“, Alex says before hanging up. “Sorry my mom’s cat needs help”, he says then leaves the apartment. Oh so it’s a cat. See John and I aren’t the only ones who compare him to a cat. But I do hope his pet is alright.

"More movies?" I ask John. He shakes his head. "We have plans tonight. It was supposed to be for the three of us but it can be for two." He says. I look at him with a confused expression. "What do we have planned?" I ask and he pulls out tickets to Waitress on Broadway.

 “Oh right our week of musicals”, I say with a look of realization. ”Well let’s get ready to go then”, I say excitedly. John nods and we get ready to go. I text Alex letting him know where we are if he gets home before John and I do then it’s off to see a musical.

We get into John's car and he drives us to Broadway Street and we go to find out theater. I'm practically jumping as I shake his arm, extremely excited to see this musical. I can't wait!!!

 We head into the theatre and go find our seats. I can hardly contain my excitement this is going to be so much fun! I can believe I’m finally seeing a Broadway musical!

After the musical, we got home to find Alex curled up in a ball on the couch. I ran to him first and kissed his cheek. "What happened?! Are you ok??" I say as gently as I can.

He shakes his head and just stays quiet. Something must’ve happened to the cat is my immediate thought. We both sit down next to him and try to comfort him. Turns out I was wrong earlier with the peaceful day thing.

Alex curls up in my lap and sniffles a bit. "Did something happen at the vet…?" I whisper quietly. He nods and starts crying. Poor thing. Maybe John and I should get him a cat for Christmas.

 John and I do our best to comfort him until he eventually starts crying. “C-can w-we watch a m-movie”, he finally stutters out. I nod and John turns on the TV and starts looking for a movie. Hopefully he doesn’t pick moana so we don’t have another incident like the first time.

"Aristoca-" "No!" I cut John off. We can't watch a movie about cats! "How about Cruella?" I suggest. John shakes his head. "Her mom dies." John mouths to me. I groan. "Disney sucks." I mumble.

 John and I both sit there for a moment trying to think of a movie that won’t make Alex more upset. Suddenly I think I found one. “Princess and the Frog?”, I suggest.

"Yes!" John says and presses play on the movie. "When we're done with musicals, we gotta watch the Barbie movies." I mumble. John shakes his head. "Absolutely not."

 “No barbie movies they’re god awful”, Alex says. Why is everyone hating on the barbie movies they're not that bad, they just don't see the potential.

"Would you rather watch My Little Pony with Herc?" I ask and stop cuddling with them. "Yes. It's educational at least." Alex mumbles. "Both of you are horrible." I say and leave the room.

 Why don’t they understand how good Barbie movies are?!  (This is E_musician and I don’t like Barbie movies) They can be educational too. And how in the world would they prefer my little pony over it.

"Fine fine whatever." I mumble and get up from the couch. "Noo Liza! Warmth!" John whines and grabs my arm. How tired is he that he's whining??? "Stop being a baby and let me go." I snap and go to our room. Hehe.. it's our room now.

 I’ll watch Barbie movies on my own in here and they can’t stop me. There’s a lot I can binge watch for hours but the question is which one do I start with.
