I woke up on the floor. My vision was blurred and my body tired. I got up and started looking around. I was at a restaurant. But, it wasn't the same restaurant as before. I started walking around the place. There were tables, chairs, there was even food on plates that looked like they had just come out of the oven. Suddenly, I saw a stage. However, there was no one in them. I saw a music box next to other toys. I knew where I was, I was in the 80s restaurant, when I worked under the pseudonym Fritz Smith. But how? It had been closed years ago.

I looked at the exit door and thought about going there to leave. I tried to open the door, but it wouldn't open. I tried hitting her and nothing. I stood there thoughtfully, wondering what to do, when I heard a voice saying "follow me". I looked back and saw a purple Freddy. I think I've seen him before. The purple Freddy then changed shape, taking on a feminine appearance, with completely dark skin. "Follow me" - she said. I started walking through the main room, reaching the main hall. She said again "follow me" and kept walking. I followed her down the hall, we were heading towards the security room. I then looked to my side and saw one of the party rooms, the room that could be accessed by camera 3. As I looked around the room, I saw a frightening scene. I saw myself. I was in the arms of my older brother and his friends. I was watching the moment they threw me into Fredbear's mouth. "Follow me." - Said the black Freddy.

We continued walking and passed another party room, this time, I saw the moment when Baby and Elizabeth trick me, causing me to be hit by a machine that opened my stomach, allowing her and the other animatronics to enter me. Was that my memories? - I asked myself. "Follow me" the animatronic told me once more. We had arrived in the security room. The Animatronic then turned to me. "Hello, Michael Afton. My name is Shadow Freddy." - said the animatronic. How do you know my name? - I asked. She smiled and began to say, "Because I exist inside you. I am the manifestation of your fears, traumas, distrust and worries. I exist inside your head, Michael." - explained Shadow Freddy.

Then. Are you my nightmare? - I asked. "Yeah. I Nightmare." - Said Shadow Freddy. Nightmare had been an animatronic that appeared in my dreams when I was little. It seemed to command other animatronics to attack me. I was very scared of him because of its scary appearance. "What you saw in the party rooms are your most tragic and difficult memories." - Said Shadow Freddy to me. But... If you are nightmare incarnate... Why are you talking to me so peacefully? - I asked, still having trouble understanding what was going on. "I change, Michael. The same way you change. Memories and fears you overcome change me, making me less scary and more friendly. In the end, it depends on how you look at things." - explained Shadow Freddy.

And why are you showing this to me? What you want? - I asked. I was afraid of the answer. "You are facing enemies that you have no idea who they are. Which forced me to interfere. I exist if you exist. If you die, I die too. Therefore, I needed to help you battle these powerful enemies." - She said me.

Powerful? - I asked. Obviously they were strong, but I had just taken down two with a taser. "They're not just animatronics, Michael. And neither are the souls of children or anyone else inside them." -said Shadow Freddy in a serious tone. She continued talking: "Michael. You believe in God?" - she asks me. Honestly, I don't know if I believe in a God or not. At least, not in an infinitely merciful God. Why? - I answered honestly. "Well, suppose you believe in God. And suppose you believe in an infinitely benevolent God. Now, if you believe in God, you're supposed to believe in the Devil too, right?" - asked me Shadow Freedy.

Well, maybe. Supposedly speaking. Hey wait. Are you suggesting that my enemies are devils? - I spoke in an annoyed tone. It's true that I've battled animatronics possessed by vengeful spirits, but demons? This was already too crazy for me. "I'm not suggesting anything. Just telling you. But now, I think it's time for you to go." - said Shadow Freddy. She then snapped her fingers and we went to my old room where I had my nightmares.

Shadow? Where are you? - I asked. "Here in bed." - said a female voice. I turned around and fell back. I saw a female Nightmare lying down watching me.

Wow... You are, different. - I said a little blushing. "My form is like this because you're scared of the animatronics in this new pizzeria. My other two forms, Nightmare and Shadow Freddy, were also shaped by your fears." - Said Nightmare. I looked at myself and saw that I was back to my childlike appearance, wearing my striped shirt and blue pants. "So... How do I get out of here? - I asked. "Just follow the path that leads out of your house and you'll wake up." - she explained. So, I started walking and I left my room, I arrived in the living room and I saw the door where the exit from the house was. Nervous but prepared, I put my hand on the knob and turned it, and pushed open the door. When I left, a light came on and dazzled my vision and, when I realized it, I had woken up.

I was back at the pizzeria. It was five-thirty in the morning. I got up and saw that Chica and Bonnie were still on the floor. I then took the two animatronics and took them to the stage, leaving them with Freddy. I was afraid Freedy would attack me, so I went back to my room. I locked the doors and waited until six in the morning. When my shift was finally over, I got in my car and drove home as quickly as possible.

Yeah, today I am here to give some explanations about this chapter.

Shadow Freddy and Nightmare.

There is nothing in the franchise to suggest that Shadow Freddy and Nightmare are the same person. However, both Nightmare and Shadow Freddy seem to be just in Michael's head, with Shadow Freddy being a hallucination and Nightmare being a nightmare, both of which are the brainchild of Michael Afton. That's why I made the two of them the same person in this fanfic. Furthermore, it is also unconfirmed whether or not Nightmare and Shadow Freddy are real hallucinations or animatronics. So this story of Nightmare = Shadow Freddy is an original idea of ​​mine for this fanfic. Nothing more. Nothing less.
