Izuku POV

'Please don't be too late, please don't be too late' I thought to myself as I ran through the school gates. The reason I'm running late was because of a villain attack at Tatooin Station and I just had to write some notes of the heroes on the scene.

I enter my home room to see my classmates speaking to there friend groups, ignoring me like usual. I quickly rush to my seat, but got tripped by 'Kacchan' as I fell to the floor.

Kacchan- "Watch where you're going Deku" he said with a snarky grin not even looking towards me.

Our teacher walks into the room so I quickly get off the floor and into my seat. That's when I notice the stack of paper in his hand.

Teacher- "So, since you're all third-years,it's time for you to think seriously about your futures" the teacher said, to which almost the entire class groans at. "I'll pass out handouts for your future plans now, but..." he paused, throwing the stack of paper into the air. "....you're all pretty much planning to go into the hero course, right?"

At that moment, the whole class went into chaos as everyone (excluding me and 'Kacchan') started to use their quirks haphazardly, despite it being against the school rules.

Teacher- "Alright settle down, settle down" in a attempt to calm his class down.

Kacchan- "Yo, teach, don't lump us all in the same group. I'm not gonna be stuck at the bottom with the rest of these rejects. I'm going straight to the top, UA"

While the whole class was discussing Kacchan's chances, I was having a heart attack after hearing that. 'Of course he wants to go to UA, it's been our dream school since we were kids. Calm down Izuku, you're okay, just as long as they don't find out tha-'

Teacher- "Oh yeah, Midoriya wanted to go to UA, too, right?" He blurted.

There was a slight pause before the whole class began an uproar of laughter trying to diminish my dreams as I mentally curse my teacher.

Time Skip

After a long and emotionally stressful day I was in class reading more about the Villain attack at Tatooin Station when 'Kacchan' and his lackies take my notebook.

Kacchan- "We aren't finished yet, Deku" He says with that devilish grin of his and his two hype-men behind him.

Izuku- "W-w-well, I r-really have to g-go now, so if you could j-j-just give me back m-" before I can finish stuttering my words, he blows up my notebook and throws it out the window. "WHHHAAAAAT!?"

He places a hand on my shoulder, using his quirk, and said

Kacchan- "Don't apply to UA, nerd, or I will fucking bury you".

If you were to ask me a few years ago how 'Kacchan's' explosions felt, I would have told you that they were the most painful thing you could ever experience. Now however, they just leave a small stinging sensation. I guess I just adapted to the pain and now barely feel them, but I would never tell him that, otherwise I don't want to know what they would do to me.

Kacchan- As they were leaving, 'Kacchan' stopped and said "Hey, maybe there is a way you can become a hero." I turned to him, thinking that he may have had a change of heart. Boy was I wrong. "Just pray for a quirk in your next life and take a Swan Dive off the roof of the building".

Present Time

'Take a Swan Dive off the roof of the building'. Those words repeated in my mind as I was left on a building alone after All Might had finally crashed my dreams. I thought of all the years of living only to be a mistake. Before I was even born I was a mistake. I think about all the people that would actually miss me, only to realise, there was only one person. "I'm sorry mom, for all the years I've made you worry about me. I hope this will help you focus more on yourself than on me." I say welling up with tears.

I took off my shoes, and my backpack, and stand at the edge of the roof. I turn around so I'm looking at the sky when I die. "Not exactly a Swan Dive 'Kac'- Bakugou, but it's the best I can do for now"

Izuku- "Goodbye" I smile as I lean back and fall as my life flashs before my eyes. As I am nearing my decent, I close my eyes. I reach the ground and........

...............

...............

.......... I'm still falling?

Out of pure curiosity, I open my eyes to something I was not prepared to see.

The sky was red and covered by a pentagram.
