Xingqiu POV
I tapped a notification that just appeared on top of my phone, reaching for my earphone that I kept in my pocket, I plugged it in.
I took a sip from my coffee staring at the video on screen before spitting it out aggressively.
Holy- HOLY SHIT THOSE ABS-
I squeeled the fanboy I am.
Hello, the name's Xingiu, my liege. I am a writer who wrote a The Legend of the Sword, it's a hot topic now a days. And yes, I am currently watching my favorite idol's new solo debut. His name is Yun, well.. That's his stage name. The music video was rather.. Hot.. As I may say.
I stopped once I heard people whispering and murmuring then looking at me
I chuckled, embarrassed, before muttering out a small 'sorry'.
A few moments has passed and the girl I have been waiting for has finally arrived, the figure walked up to me "Let's go Xingqiu! Time to go!" she exclaimed, smiling her usual cheerful smile.
My lips curled into a smile before nodding "Lead the way, Xiangling" And she did.
I stood up not bothering to let go my phone as I walked at a rather slow pace since I was too focused staring at my phone looking at Xiangling every now and then to make sure not to get lost because of the crowd gathering.. Odd. Why are there alot of people in here? This is literally the middle of the street.
I decided to ignore it for now and looked back at my phone while still following the girl who was just 2 meters away from me.
"Sheesh Qiu! Can you let go of your phone for once?" she yelled making me flinch, yet it was only loud enough for me to hear and not for the others.
She looked back at her to face me as she put a little pouty impression on her face, saying "If you keep that up, you'll lose me!" she sticked her tounge out as she walk in an even faster pace.
I sighed, turning my phone off and gently slid it to my left pocket that was currently empty, I was about to catch up with her but bumped into someone causing me to stagger.
" A-ah! Sorry! Are you okay?" the stranger asked worriedly, not seemingly moving from his place as he grabbed both my shoulders. Based on his voice he's a guy and he's also wearing something.. Very suspicious, he was wearing a black hood with ripped pants on, and he was even wearing glasses that are very much tinted in black that I can't even see his eyes anymore. Is this guy about to kidnap me or-
Wait, Xingqiu! Where are your manners?! You can't just jump into conclusions like that! We just bumped into eachother.
I mentally slapped myself.
The other just stared at me, he was about to say something before a man in a tidy and formal black suit called up for him, all I was able to hear was "Did I h-" and getting cut off afterwards.
The boy looked at him and looks back to me, before apologizing once again and running off.
The man that seemed to be in his 30's opened the door, making enough time for the boy to get in then closing the door shut.
I simply looked away afterwards realizing I myself hasn't even apologized to the boy yet, feeling guilty.
Changing my impression, realizing something.
Now that I think about it.. That boy seemed oddly familiar, the icy cyan hair that snuck out of his hood and his voice.. It's familiar but I somehow can't get my finger into it so I just payed it no mind, but more importantly.
I lost the Xiangling,
I groaned, cursing under my breath for taking so much time that I almost forgot about the girl.
"Welp, that's a start." I talked to myself.
