Camilo runs to the door but just before he gets there his gift fades. He shares a glance with his older cousin Isabela as the same has happened to her. The cracks are spreading and Mirabel is the only hope but just as she gets to the candle the house starts to fall. Mirabel grabs the candle but it's too late.. the candle went out.
The house falls and Mirabel falls to the floor motionless as the final pillar topples .
"Mirabel?!" Julieta and Agustín call out. "Where is she?!"
As Luisa lifts the rubble off her sister, Isabela, Julieta and Agustín run over. They all fall to there knees sobbing. Their daughter was dead.
Camilo starts to hear people.. the townsfolks! But before he can say anything, Abuela buts in.
"I think it's the townsfolks!" She says smiling.
"How can you POSSIBLY be smiling right now?!" Camilo shouts. "Mirabel is DEAD AND ALL YOU CARE ABOUT IS THE HOUSE!"
"She was never helpful anyway" she says shocked because her grandson had lashed out like that.
"YOU KNOW WHAT?" He said. "I'm done! I'M LEAVING!"
Camilo ran off hearing Pepa, his mothers and Felix's, his fathers cries of plead..
