You were teaching in a local theater class, which was really just a daycare parents could bump into your hands so they couldn't take care for their kids. Extra cash was futile with living in Encanto, and your place got more popular the more you worked hard and slaved over kid's happiness.

"mierda." Youd utter to yourself every morning once you checked the clock, realizing you had to start work and open up the place. Its not like you hated the kids, per say, you'd even become fond of them.

However, kid's can be annoying and tug on your strings. Now imagine a room full of untreated, loud wheezing toddlers running across the room. Each penny counted so you could at least buy an empanada without feeling guilty.

Wrapping an apron and a kid friendly button up with flowers on them, you strutted out of your room. Which was just a small part locked off from the kids, including the kitchen. Setting your coffee cup down, you allowed the bitter taste to rest on your tongue, rubbing the sleep out of your eyes.

You ran a hand through your hair in attempt to tame the tired babyhairs standing tall. Then, a ring announced somebody to come through, a loud "¡Buenos dias, jefe!"

That was Camilo, he was one of the older kids who volunteered to help with you. Of course, for a small fee of you also buying him spare food and introducing him to new people. Other then that, he was just a sweetheart.

Usually.

Though, he does help out the kids when they see him transform into their parents, or change his face to make them laugh. He was like your second son, making you smile when you were too tired to go on.

"Morning, Camilo" you chuckled, fluffing up his hair as you finally decided to open up the doors. The blast of hot Encanto winds blew in your face, waking you up.

"¡Enciende el aire acondicionado, RÁPIDO!" You shouted, seeing a swarm of kids rush in. Usually it was the regulars, before a few new faces would pop in temporarily.

The madrigal was on the AC, before a few older toddlers shoved him over, greeting him. "Haha, hey!" He played with them, lifting the smallest and spinning him around. The kids went into full motion, before hearing you clap.

"Bien. Before we start, does anybody know the rules?" A few kids turned to the board you set up, raising their hands and babbling out answers. Even Camilo, playfully raised his hand, "oh oh, me!!"

You laughed, deciding to choose the most shy little girl in your room, who finally decided to raise her hand. Her eyes nervously glanced down, raising her hand down and shaking her head.

"No idea? Cam, help her out." You cooed, bending down to her level. She scrunched up her skirt, tearing up. Instantly, the teenager rubbed her head, making sure not to mess up the neat bowtie.

"It's okay, rules are for nerds." He slowly slipped his hand down to dry the girls tears, before you snapped up at him. "Camilo!" A bunch of boys laughed, before you shushed them.

"BIEN BIEN. Let's look at the board, okay?" Camilo was surprisingly good with kids, despite how he'd mess with them like an older, annoying brother. The girl glanced up, whispering out,,

"Rule one... p-put back the stuff when you use it."

Cupping your hands, you smiled and continued reading them, all of the other kids finally running off to play. A couple were at the slides, the twins playing with some toy trains, and some handmade kitchen items you made for them. Camilo was helping out the newbies, shape-shifting and all.

The days were always different, at least. A black haired boy managed to sneak in, a parrot on his shoulder.

"So this is where big brother has been hiding.. Hi!" He walked over, shaking your hand as the parrot flew over your head. A few girls screamed as the tiger came in, but the boys instantly went to play. You realized it was one of the Madrigal niños, Camilo's wide eyed expression being priceless.
