When we finished shopping, we returned back to the guild. But Gray has been giving me rude looks, and Juvia has been acting stranger than usual and I feel a lot of pressure on me. I have to fall in love, and he has to love me back in 30 days! Laki kept bragging about some boy named 'Sting' on Sorcerer Weekly, and Cana named the guys who were single in the guild.
When I left, Lucy joined me and we headed home. I sigh, knowing that no guy would want me. I'm a girl who doesn't know a single thing about surviving in the human world, let alone wizards. I guess Lucy saw me looking glum and stopped doing my makeup to look at me.
"You okay? You've been acting weird ever since we got back." She says with concern in her voice.
"It's just- I thought this would be easy. Here you are, Erza is picking out my dress, you are doing my makeup, and Evergreen,Wendy and Cana kept bragging about, 'perfect guys' and 'how to act'. Truth is, I thought...I thought, I'd be happy." I say hanging my head down, letting my hair fall. I feel a tear fall from my face, onto the pink blush on my cheeks.
"(Y/N)...you should tell us how you feel. If you're not happy, tell us, we won't judge, we're here for you. We're you're friends." She says raising my head up with her hand. She smiles like an angel, brown eyes shinning. And for some reason, she looks like my mother.
"Thank you...Lucy." I whisper and place my hand on hers.
"Come on, let's get ready for your date. Kinana already told Gray; he doesn't know it's you." She says grabbing my hand and pulling me up. "Yeah, let's!" I say suddenly feeling pumped up again. I'll find the one, because if I don't...I don't know what I'll do.
"You look..." Mirajane says gazing up at me. Everyone was.
"Gorgeous," Levy says,
Beautiful." Lisanna adds,
"No. You look, perfect." Lucy says finally.
I turn around and gasp. I was wearing a blue, mermaid dress made of lace that filled with bright, shinning diamonds at the bottom of the dress. It went to my ankles, and had a low v cut, showing off my breasts. I had white gloves to my elbow, white, open toed, high heels, and my earrings were a lovely sapphire color. I also wore a pearl necklace with a matching bracelet. My hair was brought In a messy bun, with loose hair sticking out. And to top it off, a ocean replica for eyeshadow, with black eyeliner and red lipstick. I didn't recognize myself.
"This-this is...me." I say touching my face, making sure it was real.
"Two hours spent well, I'd say." Erza said.
"And we barley have time to make it to the restaurant!" Lucy said,
"let's go!" She grabbed my hand and we were off.
