The sound of the phone ringing woke Rosé up with a hiss of pain she felt on her shoulders. She got up and searched for the phone in her purse which was put on the coffee table. Once she got hold of it, she looked at the screen to see who was interrupting her rest that afternoon.
"Daddy?", her lazy eyes widened as she saw the name on the screen. "God, what am I going to tell him?", she panicked as she looked around the quiet surrounding of the apartment.
Then, she looked at the time on the wall clock and took a deep breath before answering the call.
"Hello, daddy.."
"Rosie? Hey, are you okay? I'm at ParkTech right now. The guard said he didn't see the VP coming in today. Where are you, my dear?", her father questioned her directly as soon as she picked up his call.
"Oh, umm...sorry, daddy. I'm at Lisa's place, I met her last night and then I had my period this morning. The cramp is...so painful I can't even move so..", she lied to him.
He felt bad for her, "Do you need anything? I can send to you-"
"It's okay, daddy. Really, I just...need to rest. I'll go home when I feel better, I promise.", she quickly told him, not wanting him to really send anything to her side she lied about her whereabouts to him.
"Are you sure?", Park Hongjun asked his daughter back.
She assured him, "I'll tell you when I'm coming home, okay?"
"Okay, then. Take care, Rosie."
"You too, dad. See you at home."
After they both said goodbye to each other, Rosé sighed in relief as she ended the call.
"Gosh, my back hurts.", she massaged her shoulder before she found a note left on the coffee table in front of her.
"You can use my bathroom to shower. There's a new toothbrush at the sink and a spare cloth for you to change. Leave this place once you've freshened up.", she read the note and smiled. "I can use his bathroom? Hmm..", she looked at the door of Jungkook's bedroom with a smirk. "Thank you, Jungkook.", she happily stood up, forgetting her sore muscles and walked to the bedroom where she saw Jungkook went to in the morning.
