Chapter 8 - Lost

Once I had heard the screams, I knew we were screwed.

"Shit, Shit, Shit,"  I mumbled under my breath as Justin and I got in the car, "What are we supposed to do? They know we're here, it's not like we can just disappear." 

"Oh, yes we can." 

Justin instantly backed up out of our parking spot and sped down the street. 

I looked behind us, "Babe, the paparazzi are following us." 

Justin groaned and took a random left turn onto a dirt road, we were instantly greeted with a forest. Justin took the next right turn, and kept turning and driving through the roads until we had lost the paparazzi. 

I looked around and nothing had looked familiar. 

I nervously looked at Justin, "Um, Babe, where are we?" 

"Honestly, I have no idea." 

I turned on my iPhone to use Google Maps, but realized I had no service. I grabbed Justin's iPhone to see if he had service, but his phone was in the same situation as mine. 

"Justin?" 

He looked over to me to continue. 

I waved the phones in front of his face, "No service, so can an we drive around and try to at least find our way home?"

"No, let's sit here and wait for he-," I cut him off, "Its not like it can get any worse, we're already lost."

He groaned and started to drive again.

About twenty minutes later, the car broke down. 

Justin hit the steering wheel, "Seriously? This car is brand new." 

I opened my door and got out.

"Ari, what do you think you're doing?" 

I turned and looked at him, "Walking, what does it look like?" 

He got out, "Where is there to go?" 

I threw my hands out and started walking away, "It's better than staying here!"

Justin groaned and jogged to catch up with me. 

"You're being ridiculous."

I scoffed, "I'm being ridiculous? Do you hear yourself?"

"Yeah, I do, Ari. I want to stay where it's safe, not somewhere that could be dangerous!" 

I turned to him, "Fine, if you want to stay and hide in your precious car, go for it. I don't know about you, but i'm actually going to go try and find help."

With that, I turned and walked away, leaving him standing there with his jaw dropped.

Sorry it's not very long, I'll try to update again soon and make it  an extra long chapter as a make up for not updating in awhile.
