Remembering the words that Donna had previously told Courtney, she knew that Donna hated Miranda but was too afraid to speak up for herself.

As she made her way back to the Manor it didn't look any less terrifying than the first time. At least she wouldn't have to be worried about being killed by a doll. Angie liked her quite a lot.

Knocking on the door Angie greeted Courtney, "Oh yippee! Your back! What are we gonna do today?"

"Oh I'm sure we'll be able to do something fun, but first I need to speak to Miss Beneviento," Courtney said light tone.

"Oh! Miss is actually having some free time now! Come quick, I can wait to do something together with you Miss Courtney!" Angie led Courtney to a room where Donna was sitting.

Despite the veil covering her face Donna recognized Courtney right away, "Miss Courtney, what are you doing here?" She asked surprised of Courtney's arrival.

"I need to speak to you about some uh extremely important manners," Courtney said.

Donna gestured to another chair right beside her own for Courtney to sit, "What about?" She asked.

"You know about Miranda," Courtney started slowly. She could feel Donna's scowl beneath the veil.

"Continue," Donna said still in a calm voice.

"Me and the other lords have decided to take her down. For good. You know that she's not a good person, only using you for a vessel for her dead daughter,"

"That is a foolish move," Donna contradicted

"Possibly, but think if we won. You'd be free to do whatever you like. You'll be normal. Everything will be normal. Just think about not being known as a freak!" Courtney continued on.

".. If Miranda were to die so would the Cadou that makes us this way, so that means.. Angie," Donna stopped speaking.

Shit Courtney hadn't ever thought about that. If the cadou was gone so would be what makes Angie live.

Then an idea came into her head, if she was able to get a sample and preserve it then maybe she would be able to somehow connect it with Angie to keep her alive. The idea was crazy, but there was a change that it could end up working.

"I don't want to live on without having Angie by my side," Donna said, "I won't fight if it'll end up killing her,"

Then Courtney decided to tell Donna her idea. Donna listened carefully to her words. Once Courtney finished speaking she looked at Donna.

"Are you sure that it'll work?" Donna asked quietly.

"Yes I'm quite sure," Courtney reassured her.

"Alright, I will help fight for this cause," Donna said quietly, but there was something in her voice.

Confidence.
