|Usually, I am the only kid around during story time, Because I don't go, but lately, there is this new guy, I'm not sure his name, who is in the cell next to mine, while everyone is at story time. I think he told me his name but I still
Call him 'that guy'. He is kinda cute, and I admit I fantasize us being together sometimes, but a lot of girls like Enid and my best friend Beth have a crush on him so he is a no go.|
I get up off of my bed and open the curtain to the usually busy, but quiet cell block C. I take a deep breath and see 'that guy' sitting on the steps.
"Hey 'that guy' " I joke.
" I told you. My name is Carl. Get that in your brain" Carl says as he taps the side of head and I flinch. "Ha, you flinched" he says
"So the hell what" I say walking away.
I go to the fence for watch duty. I wait eagerly to find out my partner, but when I find out who it is, I could barely breathe.
