A bench, on the edge of a hill, with a Great view on a river and some small villages. It's high up. We have to stay away from the edge. The last golden sunbeams of the day shone through the leaves off the big trees, that have always been surrounding this place. We had walked there for almost an hour because you didn't have a car and I didn't have a license. Our feet hurt, so we took off our shoes and sat down on the bench. I feel the pack of cigarettes in the left pocket of the jacket you had gave me earlier. We actually came here to get drunk and forget the real world for a bit but for now it was too early for this. "I don't want to take advantage of you like that" you had said on our way there... whatever you meant by that. I gave you one of my Marlboro Reds and a lighter. We looked into the great nothing right in front of us. It got darker and finally the last signs of the sun disappeared behind the hills. As is got darker and the cigarettes shorter, the full moon started to glimpse through the few dark October clouds on the dark blue sky. You lit yourself another cigarette. I watched how the flame of the lighter reflected in your beautiful blue eyes. I took a drag from my cigarette very intense, that it started to burn my lungs and throat. You grabbed my hand. "Take it easy love. I wouldn't want you to get sick." My heart instantly felt warmer. He just called me love. He said that many times before but every time it feels different. I think that's what love is supposed to feel like. I noticed, that your hand was still grabbing mine and I couldn't resist but smile. "What's wrong?" You asked me. "Oh, nothing" I answered and blew the smoke in the cold brisk air. It was almost winter, so it was freezing at this time of the night but the cigarette warmed my soul and so did your hand on mine. I stared in the dark and tried to find the words, as if they were flying through the night sky. I took a glance at you, then I fully looked into your deep, mysterious eyes, because I realized that you've been staring at me this whole time. I had to put my hand on your cheek. It's a bit prickly because you had shaved this morning. We looked into each others eyes. You got closer to my face. So slowly, that I hardly noticed the movement. You took the cigarette out of my mouth and threw it away into the woods. But before I could even complain, you put your hand on the back of my head, pressed it closer to yours and finally kissed me. It felt like as if one million butterflies would try to escape out of my soul. You smelled of cigarettes, cheap after shave and safety, and tasted like mouthwash and heaven.

It felt like it has been hours when you removed your lips from mine. I had to smile again but it was okay because you smiled too. "We didn't need no vodka to kiss right?" You asked me and we laughed. I put my head on your shoulder and lit us another cigarette to share. On the bench at the edge of a hill, surrounded by the trees that have been there forever, and a great view on a river and some small villages, the full moon shining onto us.
