Camilo madrigal x reader

{Chapter 1: Introduction}

Hi, Im Y/N L/N. I am 15 (yes you are going to be 15 years old) and I have 2 siblings and a dog. My older sister Marina (21), and my younger brother Theo (10). My mums name is Hariette and my fathers name is Patrick. I have a dog named charlie, and he is a (insert dogs desired breed).

I lived in a worn down home with broken windows and rats runing around all the time. I dont get why they like to chew on my door frame. Though my home wasnt in the best condition, I love my familly to death, well besides being neglected because I wasnt as great as the other kids in town. I wasn't atletic enough, I never looked good enough, I wasn't smart enough.... you get the idea. Anywhoo though I wasn't good enough for anyone, I was very, very talented at swimming. Sometimes I feel like the waves would carry me away! 

I almost fell asleep sketching out a sunset on an ocean, until my dad busted through my chewed-through door, and announed to me "Hey Y/N" "Hey dad" "can you pack all your stuff?" "why?" "oh, me and your mom will tell you in the car, its best to actually get up rather than do.... whatever that nonsense is" my dad said pointing at my sketch pad. I hated when my parents called my drawings nonsense. They never get to see what my drawings are or my swimming tricks! They are always focused on Marinas sports and Theos soon-to-be music career. I still don't get how they like his music so much. Its doesnt even sound good! Anyway, I took out my somewhat decent looking suit case and pack all of my sketchbooks. (and trust me, I have alot). And my dad came in my room yet again. "hey hija?" (daughter). "yes papa?" "you may wanna wear something nice, its antonio''s gift ceremony and I want you to look nice." Oh great! My familly telling me what to wear! -Sigh-. I found a outfit that was a bit fancy for my liking, but it was the best I had

After I put on the oufit and combed my hair, I tugged my suit case down the hall into the car. My parents saw what I was wearing. "do you have anything nicer?" my mom asked. "Well no, you always foucused on Marina and Theo so this was the best I had!" My mom glared at me. "don't you talk back to me like that do you understand?" Yes mom" I said annoyed. We got Charlie in the car and were ready to hop in. "Sorry sis, middle row is taken" Marina snicked. I was personally fine I could sit in the back. I wouldn't be bothered. The only bad thing is that I was treated like a slave getting people food and drinks. We finally got the the Madrigals home and we got the suitcases out. Turns out, we are staying with the madrigals! I was personally excited, but Marina and theo were conplaining every 10 seconds. 

After we approched the door, a girl, about my height with round glasses and short curly hair greeted me. "Hi! You must be here for antonios gift ceremony?" My mom pushed me aside. "Erm sweetheart? where is your abuela?" "Oh right, I  will be right back." The girl walked off and soon her Abuela came outside. "Come on in, you guys are the first guests." my familly pushed through to get inside first. I came inside and the same girl I saw earlier came over to me. "Hi! Im Mirabell Madrigal! Whats your name?" She held out her hand for a shake of hands. "Y/n L/n" I replied taking her hand and shaking it. "Hey, you should meet my familly! I like you!" (she means that in a friend way :")) Turns out, the muscular girls name is luisa and she is super strong, the girl with long hair is isebella and she grows plants, the small boy with the afro is antonio, who gets his gift today, the girl with the red headband is dolores and she hears everything,  the boy with curly hair is Camilo and he can shapeshift into anyone, and last the girl I was talking to is Mirabel and she has no powers.

It was time for Anotonio to get his gift. I was standing next to Camilo and accidentally bumped into him. "Lo siento Camilo!" ( sorry Camilo!) He turned and smiled. "Esta bien....?" (It's alright....?) "Y/n!" "Y/n". We stood next to eachother watching as Antonio get the power of understanding animals. After we finished,  Abuela invited us to dinner.I sat next to Camilo. He smiled at me, I smiled back. He turns out to be a really funny guy. "Well it's time!" abuela announced.It was time to decide who stays in who's room. After everyone but me decided. I looked back and forth at mirabel and Camilo. I had no idea who I was gonna choose. Finally, I made a decision.
