Jennie got out of her car, knowing fully well that the party had started more than an hour, but didn't care. To her, this was the perfect time to arrive, fashionably late.

For Christ's sake she was a guest not the fucking party host, so why should she be early?

It wasn't like she didn't have anything else to do that night but only came to see Lisa, even though it would be from afar, she would be okay and with that, she walked towards the entrance with her black mask in her hand.

She had to hand it to Regina, the woman knew how to throw a party and this party was just as lavish as the past ones, not that she had expected anything less from her. Jennie stepped into the room and the first person she saw was Regina.

Speak of the devil.

"Kim" Regina called out in a professional tone.

"Regina," Jennie said as she saw her walking to where she stood with what looked like a smile on Regina's face but she had been acquainted with Regina long enough to know it wasn't.

"You have truly become the spitting image of your father." Regina said and She nodded in acknowledgment. Jennie took another look at Regina who looked way younger than she had expected her to look by now and smiled.

Though the smile wasn't genuine at all, She was just happy that her standard source of information was impeccable, and looking at Regina now, she could confidently say that Regina looked nothing like her Lisa.

Perhaps Lisa looked a little like Nathaniel but not Regina and that led to her new theory that was yet to be proven.

Lisa was illegitimate, a product of Nathaniel's unfaithfulness to his wife.

Normally Jennie wouldn't have given a fuck about other people's messed up lives because she had hers to deal with but this was Lisa we are talking about here. Lisa practically was her life.

"I could say the same thing for you and your daughter but your daughters are an entirely different story," Jennie said and watched to see if there would be any change in Regina's facial expression but there was nothing.

Just that signature poker face she always used. Jennie then looked around the room, and thereby the serving table, she saw Lisa. She looked as stunning as ever in a royal blue dress and seemed to be drinking all alone while glaring holes into the guy that sat next to Kristina.

What a feisty little kitten Lisa was.

Regina saw Jennie wasn't looking at her anymore then followed her line of sight to see what she was staring fascinatingly at but received a little shock when she saw that Jennie's eyes were fixed on Lisa. She shook her head, not believing what she was seeing. Perhaps it was the effects of the alcohol.

'Jennie is not looking at my daughter like that, she wouldn't dare.' Regina said to herself with a frown but knowing the daredevil that was Jennie Kim, she probably would dare her without even batting an eye. She knew Jennie had always been a little disrespectful anyway. Regina then looked at Jennie again and saw she was still staring at Lisa like there was no one in front of her.

How disrespectful Jennie! Staring at her daughter like that in front of her like she wasn't even there. Such a shameless girl!

"Take your eyes off my daughter, Jennie Kim. Keep them to yourself, you are looking at the wrong place." Regina said with a snarl.
