What Spell

Nathan chuckles as he stops kissing me for a second. "What?" I say smiling. He shrugs, then speaks, "I think someone's watching..." He says lowering his voice, and nodding over to the big glass wall for a side of Ellie's house, to reveal Alexys jumping up and down squealing like a two year old. You know us fan girls, we just can't help it. I shoot Alexys a deadly stare, and when she sees it she immediately stopped jumping, looked down at the ground, and then walked away. I started to laugh and threw my arms around him.

"Soooo... What does this mean exactly?" I ask Nathan still standing out on the ledge. "I mean, not to make anything awkward but..." I say hoping he would catch on. He looks at me confused. "I mean, are we dating? Are we not dating? And I just some one night stand for you to blow off the next morning?" I joke, making us both laugh. "Well, your NOT a one night stand." He says. I shake my head in approval. "Maybe a two night stand?" He jokes back, so I hit his arm. "Ow! That hurt." He says childlike letting me know I didn't actually hurt him.

"What about the spell?" I ask Nathan, pacing around the ledge. He then grabs my shoulder stopping me and making me look up at him. He smirks. "You want to see something?" He asks, his smirk still not leaving his face. I nod. "Watch this." He says walking around to my backside and starts tracing his fingers down my wings. All of the sudden, I get chills as I feel my wings retract into my back. Making it to where if I put a coat over it, then it wouldn't be able to be seen. "Woah!" I exclaim. "Now how do I get them back, cause you know, I like flying a heck of a lot more than riding shotgun."

He smiles down at me. "Don't worry, you can unfurl your wings at any given time you want, just not suddenly, because that can hurt like hell." He chuckles. I love it when he does that... Katie! Stop thinking about who cute he is! Dangit! "You really must like me don't you?" He says then bites his lip. Oh. My. God. I think I'm about to die from his cuteness. Stop it! "Hey, just leave me to my fangirling and I'll leave you to... whatever you do. Ya." I say blushing like crazy. "Ya, okay." He says pulling me into him. I look up into his blue eyes and practically fell apart on the inside.

"Would you guys like a room?" Ellie laughs walking out from the door we had entered in when we first got here. "Um, sorry, I... uh... I'll just go now." I say to Ellie then walk over the edge hanging off of the porch. "No, Katie, that's not at all what I meant. I actually want you guys to stay here with me. You know? It gets kinda lonely, and I mean, I don't care if you and Nathan are together." She says walking closer to me and Nathan. "No, it's ok, I just really need to get back to the cliffs. I'll just grab Alexys and we'll go." I say walking to the door and yell for Alexys.

She comes out and says, "Um how are we going to get home?" I shrug. "Hey, wait, here, let me show you how to unfurl your wings." He says then walks over to me. He pokes a certain spot on my back that gives me the same shivers that made them close. Suddenly my wings pop right back into the place they were before they furled. "Thanks. But how can I do it with out you there?" I ask confused. "Oh you don't have to worry about that. The chills you got from the wings? Ya that was just to get your wings into that spot for you to be able to do it a gain on your own. To be more flexible, I guess is a better way of putting it." He says. "Hey, um, Katie, you wouldn't mind if I tagged along would you? You know just to show you a few flying tricks?" He asks, um I'm not so sure 'flying tricks' is what he meant.

"No, not at all, we don't mind if you come along, right Katie?" Alexys says. "Right." I say staring at Nathan trying to be 'sexy', although I'm not sure how much it's working. "Great!" He exclaims, walking over to the edge with me and Alexys following.

When we dropped Alexys off at her house, the sun was setting and I decided to break the silence. "Come on I want to show you something." I say grabbing Nathan's hand and nod towards the cliffs.

We got there just as the sun was on the horizon. It was beautiful. Various colors of oranges and dark blue from the already darkening sky. Nathan picked up on why I brought him here. Just then, he pulls me into him making me kiss him roughly. I didn't mind it though, I just went along with it. When he pulls away he asks me, "Want to go some place more private, and somewhere with an actual bed." He says breathing heavily, just as I was. I nod. "Ya, but I'm not ready for the whole deal yet." I say pulling him back into kiss, more soft than rough like the first one. We then lift into the air, still kissing when I release from his lips I look at him confused. "Where to? Well are your parents away?" He shook his head 'no'. "I was emancipated, which means I have my own place." He says smirking. I bite my lip. "You don't even have to try to be sexy, cause you already are." He says making me melt. "Let's go to your place and I'll show you some amazing things." I say. He smiles, kisses me, then says "Keep up, short stack." He speeds off but slow enough for me to catch up to him.

Soooo. It did take a while for me to write this, because you know how writers block can be. ANYWAYS if you haven't at least read my other book 'Her Savior' YOU TOTALLY SHOULD cause that'd be awesome. Also if you have friends who read watt pad and don't read my books tell them to at least check them out it would be really helpful. And updates should be coming out regularly again cause I know I dont usally have updates posted withing months but I'm seriously trying here. Alright please remember to vote, comment, and share.
