The bell had just wrung, I opened the doors to the school and was greeted by a hoarders of children swarming the halls, what a great welcoming. As I squeezed my ways through the halls I could just sense people looking at me, my hands were starting to get sweaty. As I turned my combination someone walked up to me.
"hey, I'm Lissandra, though most my friends call me Lizzy." she had said to me with a shy voice.
My body froze, she had an adorable high pitched voice, and her hair looked like it was crafted by the gods. I was freaking out I wasn't good at talking to people. "H-hey I'm J-James."
"Are you okay? I could go get someone if you need help." Lizzy said with a worried tone.
"N-No I'm fine I-I just have t-troubles speaking to n-new people." I replied while trying to keep calm.
"Oh, okay well have a good day, would you maybe like to eat together at lunch?' she replied excitedly.
"N-No I'm g-going to be b-busy at l-lunch" I replied and rushed off into the washroom and into one of the stalls
I was freaking out, my heart was beating quickly, I started to breath in through my nose and out of my mouth. And out of no where the bell rang, I grabbed my books and left the washroom and I rushed to my class and was welcomed by my teacher.
"Why hello, I'm Mr. Greev, students welcome James he just moved to New York." and the students all yelled hello to me.
I kept my cool and said "H-Hello" I noticed Lizzy was in my science class and there was a empty desk beside her, I decided to sit there.
"Students turn to Page 5, today we will be going over safety while doing experiments" Mr. Greev said with a firm tone.
Lizzy poked at me and whispered "You didn't tell me you just moved to New York,"
"James, can you read the first rule?" Mr. Greev asked while Lizzywas speaking to me.
"S-Sure, r-rule number 1, a-all students may-must wear p-protecti-"
I stopped to hear the students whispering "does he have have a speech problem?" and "what a freak." until a student yelled "Freak!"They all then started chanting "Freak!" over and over. My heart started pumping fast, I wasn't able to breathe, and was shaking like crazy. I ran out of the class to the washroom and ran into one into one of the stalls. While I was trying to catch my breath I heard the door open to hear.
"James are you okay?" Lizzy said.
I was nervous, I couldn't breath, my whole body was shaking,I wished life would just be over. I said. "G-Go a-away."
"James let me in, I want to help you!" Lizzy replied.
"I-I, p-please go a-away." I said back to her holding onto my chest with my left hand.
She said back to me with a soft tone. "Please James, I can... I will help you."
I usually didn't agree to people coming close to me, but I didn't know what else to do, I struggled to get up and with my shaky hands I unlocked the stall and fell forward. She caught me and lied me down on the wall to the right outside of the stalls.
"James, it's going to be okay, breath in through you nose and out of your mouth." she said to me.
I replied back to her. "I-"
"Shh, don't say anything, it will be over soon just keep breathing." she grabbed my hand softly and started rubbing it a bit. I was afraid, I had never been so close to someone I had met only 20 minutes ago. I could feel my heart beating rapidly, every now and then I felt like I was choking, and struggled for air.
