You Can Do So Much Better Than Me||One-Shot

A/N: I've had this in mind for a while now, and just got around to taking action upon this idea. Enjoy~!

After all the lies that I made you believe
Guilt kicks in and I start to see

Levi sat on the bed the two of you used to share. Thinking about how badly he messed up.

You two were high school sweet hearts, you went to the same college, and even got a job at the same law firm, eventually moving into an apartment together.

But Levi got so wrapped up in his work, he started to neglect your wants, your needs. You Wanted and Needed his attention. But sadly he was too blind to see it at the time.

The edge of the bed
Where your nightgown used to be
I told myself I won't miss you
But I remember

Levi then suddenly remembers those nights that you two would cuddle in this California king size bed he was currently sitting on. He'd never admit it, being the stoic man he was, but Oh how he missed your warm embrace. And on those nights you'd toss and turn, that ended up with your (h/l) (h/c) locks splayed about his, and your faces, he missed that as well.

What it feels like beside you
I really miss your hair in my face

He then suddenly remembered the many passionate nights you two shared. The way your soft (s/t) lips tasted. As he thought about this he touched his own pale ones, and smiled slightly before it dropped into a frown.

Him not paying any attention to you drove you into the arms of your best friend and co-worker Armin. No matter what, that lovable blonde was there for you. Giving  you attention, and listening to your problems, Unlike a certain steel-eyed, Ravenette.

I found those pictures I took
That you were looking for
If there's one memory I don't want to lose
That time at the mall
You and me in the dressing room
I told myself I won't miss you
But I remember

As Levi looked around the mostly empty room, he found a box of photographs you we're looking for.
Although very uncharacteristic of the man, He smiled slightly looking at the photo you took on your college spring break at a beach in Florida. No matter what, you managed to make him smile, but that was a sight only for you to see, no one else, just you, Because you were his special someone.

He was going to propose eventually, he already bought the engagement ring you've been eyeing at the locally owned jewelry shop, also getting it sized to ensure it fit your slender fingers just right. But he was too late.

The bed I'm lying in is getting colder
Wish I never would've said it's over
And I can't pretend... I won't think about you when I'm older
Cause we never really had our closure
This can't be the end

It was now past midnight, him with his insomnia couldn't get to sleep, especially since you weren't there with him. The bed was empty, and cold, like the Arctic Tundra.

He just hopes you're happy. Whether you're with him or not, all Levi really wanted was for you to be happy. That's all he ever cared about, was your happiness.
