Winning at the Carnival

Chap 1

The carnival had come to Hope Valley. Everyone was having fun.

Lucas was determined to win a prize for Elizabeth.

'Hey man. You looking to win this stuffed bear?' A vendor asked.

'Yes. Is this the ring toss event?' Lucas replied.

'Yes. If you can get 3 rings to land on either of these 10 bottles, I'll give you this bear.'

'Okay!'

Lucas tried as hard as he could, but after 5 aggravating tries, he finally won the bear.

He found Elizabeth and gave her the bear.

'Thank you! Where did you get this?' She asked.

'Ring toss vendor. Took me 5 tries to win. Hope you like it.' Lucas replied.

'I love it!' Then she kissed him.

'Now it's my turn to win you something!'

They went to the ring toss event, and Elizabeth won on the first try!

'How, did you do that?!' Lucas asked, amazed.

'I played this game a lot growing up. I've always had a pretty good aim.' Elizabeth replied.

'Well (chuckle), thank you for the bear!'

'You're welcome!'
