Chapter: 8 "Zipline"

"Ouch!" I screamed. Someone kicked me. I stood up and found that someone is on my bed.

"What are you doing on my bed?" "Aissa! Wake up! What are you doing in my bed? You just kicked me so hard on my hips! Hey!!???" Aissa is my younger sister and we really don't get along that well.

"Oh my! She's not waking up! She's even snoring!!!!!!" "Mom!!!!" I shouted.

"Yes, Patty? Why are you screaming at this early? Its just 5am." Mom shouted.

"Aissa is sleeping on my bed! And she just kicked me! Im very pissed, Mom!" I replied.

"She might be so very tired from the party she came from and maybe couldn't walk further to her room." Mom uttered.

"Aissa, hunny! Wake-up, your sister is very pissed at you right now. Stand up and go to your own room." Mom was telling Aissa while she tries to wake her up. "But Mom..." Aissa answered. "No buts... Come on, I'll accompany you to your room." So they went out of my room and went straight to Aissa's room.

"Grrrrrr!" As i lay down my bed side way... And stared at the poster of Chris Evans by my closet and slowly closed my eyes and continued sleeping.

Stretching on my bed as I woke up and realized that my head hurts. Damn headache! I took a bath and dressed up andI ran down the house, I heard a group of people chatting on the living room. As I finally step on the last step of the stairs...

"Finally! Your up! You slept almost half of the day!" Mom shouted.

"What? Really?" I uttered

"It's already 1pm. You must be hungry already." Aunt Josie uttered.

"Hi! Aunt Josie! I am." I replied.

"Go, your cousins are still in the kitchen eating." Mom said.

"Finally!!! Go eat fast and dress up! We will be doing some adventure!" "Don't worry, my treat!" Andrew uttered. He's the eldest cousin from my Mom's side who just passed the Licensure exams for Lawyers.

"Alright! Atty. Andrew!" I answered.

In just 10 minutes I was able finish and prepare myself.

"Im ready!" I shouted.

"Great! Let's get going!" Andrew replied.

We all hopped onto the van of Aunt Josie (Mom of Andrew), Ruperto is their family driver for 20 years now and he's the one driving us to I don't know where. "Hey, Andrew! Where exactly are we going?" I asked him.
"Its a new place on the South where extreme activities can be done." Andrew replied.

It took us about an hour to reach the place (thanks for Ruperto, he knows the short cuts of these places).

"Cool!" Everyone shouted.

"Who's up for zipline?" Andrew asked.

Of course! Everyone raised their hands in excitement.

Upon, reaching the zipline booth...
"Ticket for 7." Andrew uttered. The counter girl handed him the tickets and a pass where we should attend a 10 minute briefing before we can do the adventure. One of the rules is you should be with a partner. Great! Im left alone!

After the briefing, everyone was very fast to go up the platform where the zipline starts. Two by two my cousins released for the zipline. Now the question is, how Am I supposed to do this if I don't have a partner?!? Nice!!! Until the instructor presented himself to accompany me to do the zipline... Of course I need to say yes, because how can I go to the end line of the zipline where my cousins are waiting for me there. So as I slowly looked at the instructor, oh my!!!!! He looks like just... David Beckham... Yeah! Exageration much! So he started to fix the harness.... I can die now!!!! Blushing meter will burst soon!!!! "Are you ready, pretty?" He asked.
Seriously!!! He just called me pretty!!!! Blushing meter 99.99% "Yes" as I answered trying to hide my red blushing face. He signaled ok to his co-instructor and then we where pushed away from the platform.....

"Waaaaahhhhh!!!! Whoooohooo!!!!" I screamed! "I couldn't look down! Im scared of heights actually, I don't know how come I was able to do this" shouting so that the handsome instructor would hear me. Oh my God!!! He just grabbed my hand!!!! For about 10 minutes of my life, I totally forgot about Polo. "This is so great!"... Just before we reached the end line of the zipline, he managed to introduced his name and ask me mine..."By the way Im Vince, and you are?" He uttered. "Im Patty! It was really nice to meet you! I had fun witb you een for a short time.! Thank you, Vince!" I replied. And he gave me a killer smile. Again, I can die now! As we landed, where my cousins are waiting for me and giving me that kind of a look... Andrew shouted, ready for the next adventure? I immediately answered, "Guys, go ahead. Honestly, Im still tired from yesterday. I'll go back to the lounge and wait for you guys there. I promise, Im okay. Go and have fun!" So they went straight tobtheir next adventure and I went and ride the shuttle going back to lounge.

Sitting in the most comfortable couch... Someone asked if He can sit right next to me and when I looked at him, it was Vince. "Hey, what are you doing here? Aren't tou supposed to be working right now?" I uttered. "My duty is done for today. So I guess I can do what ever I want to do now." He answered. "Okay, have a sit then." "Thanks for awhile ago!" I replied. "No worries! It was my first time to offer accompany to someone. And Im happy it was with you!" He explained. So I blushed again!! "Really?" And that's all I can say at this point and butterflies in my tummy are like dancing in excitement. "Would it be okay if I ask your digits?" He just asked me my number!!!! Tell me this is not happening!!!! So I got a piece of paper and wrote my number and gave it to him. He just gave me that killer smile again!!!!! Then he politely said goodbye to as he needs to go visit his Mom. So as he exits the place and was looking and caught myself staring at the direction where he went.... "Patty!!! Kattie the youngest sister of Andrew shouted as they were running towards me. So I stood up and asked them if their done. Its almost 7pm. Andrew called their driver to pick us up now and meet us at the lobby.

Yey! Going home now....
