My mother has always said, "Never trust a man, with two first names." but then I met James Greg, and everything was perfect. One month into our relationship, he introduced me to his family. Me and his sister, Marina became very close. Not as close as me and Markus. Markus was my bestfriend since we were in third grade. However, this is not about him. It is about James and I's relationship. James proposed two years later, and I said yes. Which is why I'm here now.

Why the hell was the damn music taking so long? I look around impatiently. "Hey, calm down. Maybe his groom is running late." Markus said with his calm voice. He adjusted my dress strap, and rubbed my shoulders. I smiled, knowing he was there, thick and thin. He looked at his phone. "It's time for me to go line up. Love ya." he said, walking out. I inhaled and exhaled, if he had to line up, it was almost time for me to walk out. Marina walks in, looking sad. I frowned, "Why the sad face, M?" I ask confused. She inhales, "He's not coming Ella- he said he just couldn't. I'm so so sorry." she whispers as she exhales. My eyes start watering, "W-what?" I can hear my voice breaking. "He said that, and I quote 'Tell El how sorry I am, but I can't handle getting married. Tell her to call me as soon as she can. Love you Rina.' it feels- unreal." She says, almost sounding guilty.

"Get out." I say silently, "Also, tell everyone the wedding is off." I say whilst pointing to the door. She walks out. I hear her say into the microphone, "Ladies and gentleman, sadly the wedding of, James and Ella, is off." I hear the gasps, and the whispers. Markus runs in. "Are you okay?!" He hugs me tightly, I start crying as I bury my head in his shoulder. His girlfriend, Jennifer walks in, "So, should I take my gift back, or?" she says with a bitchy tone. I stop crying, and leave Markus' embrace. "Yes, take it. Mark, would you like to go on the honeymoon with me? I already paid for it, and-" he cuts me off, "I'd love to" he says, smiling. I see Jennifer's anger, "No! That IS NOT happening. End of story." She says, using her meanest  voice. She notices that his mind isn't changing anytime soon, "If you go on that little trip with her, we're over. Understood?" he nods. I l look at him, "Don't Mark. She's your girlfriend. Don't choose me over her." I say genuinely, he shakes his head. "No. You come first, I've known you longer. Sorry Jen, we're over."
