Heeyeon had just gotten off of work. Her shift wasn't busy at all and she didn't have to complete any deliveries. It gave her plenty of time to reflect. For once, work was refreshing to Heeyeon. As she exited the shop and locked the door, she turned to see someone occupying the bench outside. It was alarming because it was freezing cold outside.

"Jisung, how long have you been out here?!" She shrieked. "Hold on, I'll be right back." She blurted before the boy could even answer. She ran to her car and opened the backseat, pulling out a light pink-colored blanket. She ran back over to Jisung, who was shivering and wrapped the blanket around him. "Oh don't worry, I've only been out here for 30 minutes. I'm fine, I promise."

It warmed Jisung's heart to see the girl so worried for him. He couldn't help but smile like an idiot while staring at her. "What are you doing here?" Heeyeon knew exactly why he was here but she was trying to break the ice. "Heeyeon, I want to apologize."

"I acted so stupid the other day and I'm sorry. I was just worried I was going to find you in a janitor's closet." He referenced how he found Chae cheating on him. "I should have never jumped to conclusions and I could tell that I hurt you. I'm really sorry, Heeyeon." She watched as tears threatened to spill from his eyes.

"Jisung, it's okay. I've already forgiven you. I realized that I never told you something very important." Jisung tilted his head in confusion. "It's about my past relationship and why I had to move here alone."

Jisung's face of confusion turned into anticipation. Heeyeon took a deep breath in and exhaled slowly. "So, I dated this guy named Minseo. He was really nice at first and I only agreed to go out with him because of that. After a few dates he asked me to be his girlfriend. I thought everything was fine and it was for a little while."

"One night, he invited me over to his house and when I arrived, his parents weren't home. I didn't give it much thought. He invited me up to his room to watch movies, so I followed him up there, but we didn't watch any movies. He tried to make a move on me, if you know what I mean. I wasn't ready for that and I told him. We were only 16."

"He started yelling at me and cussing me out. He let all types of nasty things spew from his mouth and then he accused me of cheating on him." Heeyeon paused to try and calm herself. The next part of this story was the hardest part to tell. Jisung saw her struggle to fight the tears so he rubbed her arm gently to reassure her.

"Then, he got violent." She couldn't help it. Her voice broke up as she spoke. "He slapped me so hard, I fell to the ground. I couldn't do anything to defend myself because he had already started to kick me in my stomach repeatedly until I felt like I was about to throw up." Jisung's eyes widened in absolute shock. He didn't know what to say.

"After he was finished taking out all of his anger on me, he told me that he only ever dated me because he wanted something from me. I had never cried so hard in my life. I asked my cousin, Sungchan to come pick me up. He took me home and later my mom decided it would be best for me to get away. She couldn't come with me because of work."

"I think my mom didn't want me to end up in the same situation she was in with my dad." Heeyeon finished and she honestly felt better. It was nice to have been able to tell someone else what happened. Although, she did end up crying there was improvement from when she told Chenle.

"Heeyeon, I'm so sorry. That's why you flinched like that when I started yelling." He realized. Jisung was horrified. "Heeyeon, I would never hurt you like that. I wouldn't lay a single finger on you in that way." Jisung had felt so many emotions while she was talking. Right now, he just felt a strong urge to comfort Heeyeon.

He opened his arms up wide with the blanket still in his hands, and wrapped them around Heeyeon and hugged her tightly. He just wanted to make her feel safe. "I promise to never make you feel like that again. Thank you for sharing this with me, I know it wasn't easy." Heeyeon wrapped her arms around him and let herself become lost in the sound of his heartbeat.

"Jisung, I'm cold." Heeyeon said. The blanket only kept them warm for so long. "Also, I have someone I want you to meet."

"Jaemin, this is Jisung. My boyfriend." Heeyeon proudly introduced him. Jaemin looked over Jisung then Heeyeon. He could tell that they both had just finished crying but he used his context clues and pieced together what happened for himself. "Aww, my little Yeonie has a boyfriend!" He swooned.

Jaemin ended up taking quite a likeing to Jisung. Jisung also liked Jaemin a lot. Heeyeon started to feel like the third-wheel so she invited Chenle over. However, when he got there, he was more excited to see Jaemin. With nothing else to do, Heeyeon just sat there and watched the boys. She reflected on everything that happened today and began to replay the situation with NingNing in her head.

"Would someone like to tell me how NingNing, heard about me and Jisung?" She questioned the two boys. "Umm, she might have overheard me and Anjae talking about it in class this morning...sorry" Chenle said. "Why was she even worried about it? It had nothing to do with her?" Anjae exclaimed. It was Jisung's turn to respond.

"Yeah, so she kinda has a thing for me. She's liked me for a while and she's also the one that fed me that rumor that started all of this." He explained. "I don't know what made me believe her but Heeyeon, please don't worry about her. She's just jealous." Jisung reassured her with a smile.

Heeyeon was exhausted and so was Jisung. It had been a stressful day for both of them. Jisung had slept over before but Jaemin wasn't going to let that happen under his watch. Jisung and Chenle left, and Heeyeon was knocked out as soon as her head hit her pillow.

Her dreams were filled with sweetness. It wasn't necessarily an image but the feeling was pure euphoria. It had been a while since she had felt like this.

Ahhhh the story is slowly coming to a close 😭 I'm sad but I'm excited to start my next project...👀
