Ryujin glanced around awkwardly. Chaeryeong picked at her fingernails, boredom evident on her face.

After the rather perverted madness that'd gone down before and Chaeryeong got some damn clothes on, the both of them kind of just...sat on the bed, not having a clue what to do now. Ryujin hadn't thought this whole sleepover thing through, huh. Hm...

"Wanna play a game?" Ryujin asked, eyes turning at the latter.

"It's nighttime, Shin." Chaeryeong sighed like she was an old woman with back problems and Ryujin was the annoying child that wouldn't leave her alone.

"Dude, it's like," Ryujin dug her phone from her pocket and glanced at the time. "7. Who goes to sleep at seven?"

"No one. But still, we can't exactly play any exciting games."

"Just because we can't play mafia or some other heart-racing game doesn't mean we can't have fun." Ryujin sniffed.
"What about truth or dare? Twenty questions? Never have I ever?"

"Okay, while they all sound stupid, how do you even play the last one?"

"Never have I ever?" Ryujin repeated, eyebrows raised. "You've never played?"

"Yes, I've played countless times, and that's why I just asked you how to play it."

"Hey! Sarcasm is my thing, Lee."

"Sharing is caring, Shin." Chaeryeong snarked, but a playful smile lit up her features and any irritation Ryujin might've felt at the jab went right out the window.

"Of course. Forgive me for my stupidity." Ryujin replied solemnly.

"Well, never have I ever is basically...like, you hold up five fingers, right? One person says something that they've never done, and if any member of the group has done that thing, then they put one finger down. The first person to have no fingers up loses. Simple, huh?"

"It sounds alright, I guess, but we're not exactly a group of people." Chaeryeong frowned, putting a hand up to brush a stray strand of hair from her face. Ryujin almost mirrored the action before she realized what she was doing and awkwardly jerked her hand back down, to which Chaeryeong raised an eyebrow. Not one of her finest moments.

"So? It'll still be fun with just you and me. You'll love it, I promise."

"I don't know..."

"If you don't like it, we can play one round and then move on to something else." Ryujin added.

"Ugh, fine." The redhead groaned, but it was clear she wasn't that opposed to it.

"I'll play the dumb game."

Ryujin cheered and scooted closer to Chaeryeong on the bed, for no reason in particular, besides that she honestly wanted to. She could admit things now and not feel like a money-hungry, shell of a person. Fuck yeah.

"You rule! Okay, okay, let's get to it." She was way too pumped, but honestly, a good mood like this didn't come often and certainly wasn't unwelcome.

Chaeryeong bit down on the grin tugging at her lips and held up five fingers like the game apparently required.
Damn Ryujin and her ability to be adorable as hell when she's excited. Her small smile shifted to a frown when Ryujin looked confused and....waved at her?

"What're you doing?"

"You did it first, so I assumed I was supposed to wave back...?" Ryujin replied.

"Ryujin."

"What?"

"We're playing never have I ever."

"Yes?"

My god.

"You're supposed to hold up five fingers for the game, dumbass!"

"Wha- oh." Realization dawning on her face, Ryujin flushed in embarrassment.

"I'm so stupid hehe."

"Who's the one who's never played this again?" Chaeryeong teased instead of insulting her more, which she could've easily done, but seeing Ryujin so put out strangely made her want to try and make her feel better. Caring about other people wasn't something she did often, but then again, falling in love with a dumb, adorable monkey wasn't something she did often either.

"I'll let this go, this one time. Let's just get to the game."

"Yeah." Ryujin said, relieved, and held up five fingers this time instead of being an idiot in every sense of the word. "Okay, I'll start."

Chaeryeong agreed with a nod, subtly leaning in. With the way they were sitting across from each other, if Ryujin asked, she could just lie about her reasoning and say she's just really into this absolutely riveting game, so she milked the closeness for all it was worth.

"Never have I ever..." Ryujin hummed. "Done drugs."

Chaeryeong reluctantly put her index finger down, and indignantly said, "How're you that popular, and never done any drugs? I call bullshit."

"I haven't! Never seen the point, I guess." Ryujin said, and then realized something. "Wait, you have?! Dude!"

"What?" Chaeryeong fidgeted slightly.

"Hugs not drugs, remember? What have you done? Oh god, please don't let it be hard drugs." Ryujin said, all in one breath, looking every bit of a concerned mom which was kind of cute but also really weird.

"Enough of the concern, mom, jesus." Chaeryeong huffed, head tilted downward to hopefully mask her blush.

"It was only weed. So you don't have to worry about dating a stoner or something. I've only done it one time."

"Oh." Ryujin replied, for lack of a better response. "Well, I'm glad. Can't be dating a crack addict, now can I?"

"Your standards are impossible." Chaeryeong said sarcastically.

"I suppose it's my turn, right?"

"Mmhm!" Ryujin said, instantly back in good spirits. "come on, go for it!"

"Don't rush me, Ryujin." Chaeryeong bit her lip. What was a good one that was sure to be something Ryujin has done. It was clear that she was at a disadvantage in this game, with how much fucked up shit she's done. Maybe not fucked up, per se, but compared to Ryujin's squeaky clean lifestyle, the things she's done looked downright scandalous.

It was when Ryujin started chanting, "Go Chaer, Go Chaer, Go Chaer!", that Chaeryeong thought of a perfect one that was as brilliant as it was unfair.

"Never have I ever..." She paused for dramatic effect, and all the cheering died down instantly as Ryujin sat silently, eagerly waiting for her what'd she'd say.

"Played never I ever."

Chaeryeong has honestly never seen someone's face drop so quickly.

"Oh, you suck." Ryujin literally pouted, crossing her arms.

"And you swallow."

"Only with you, princess." Ryujin blew her a kiss, and Chaeryeong blanched, caught off guard by her more than slightly flirtatious comeback.

"Whatever." Chaeryeong grumbled, face feeling hot for the second time that night.

"Just put your finger down, Shin."

"I love a girl who knows what she wants." Ryujin leered.

"I swear to god, Shin-"
