Shailene Point of View
The interview takes forever. Or at least thats what it feels like. I tried to control myself throughout it, but I couldn't control everything. I still found myself staring at him for too long at times, and I laughed like every ten seconds.
"And clear!" The guy yells to signalise we're off line now. Theo stiffens beside me. Dave smiles and claps his hands together.
"That was awesome! Thanks a lot guys!! Dave says. "Can I just ask you guys one thing?"
We both nod.
"What was the trousers thing?" He has a giant grin plastered on his face.
I smile sadly. The whole trousers thing was when we were filming Insurgent. We were shooting the sex scene and we were both wearing really tight balck dauntless pants. You always shoot more than is actually shown in the movie, and it was getting really heated. Theo got a little overly excited, and the tightness of the trousers was causing him a little discomfort. It was my favourite day on set.
"Theo peed in his pants." I say to Dave and we all laugh. Then he says goodbye to us and he walks off. That just leaves the two of us.
"So where do you wanna do this?" Theo asks coldly.
I shake my head in disbelief. I cannot believe he is acting this way towards me. "I can't even think right now. You pick."
He nods his head and starts walking. I follow suit. We end up in the parking lot and he tells me to get in his car. Looks like he drove himself.
The ride is quiet and awkward and I don't feel like asking where we're going. After fifteen minutes we pull up in front of a small cafe. It's secluded, away from everything. I doubt we'll be running into any paparazzi here.
Theo gets out first. As we walk up to the entrance he holds the door open for me. We find a little booth in the corner of the cafe. It's the most private of them all. We sit down and I take my jacket off.
A teenage blond girl walks over to our table. "Hi. Welcome to Debby's. What can I get you?"
Neither of us look at the menu.
"A chicken tikka masala," Theo says.
I think for a minute. I'm not in the mood for chicken. "Umm, just a small greek salad, thanks."
She writes down out order and leaves for the kitchen. She's pretty.
We sit there in silence. I'm waiting for him to say something - he's the one who has explaining to do. When eventually he doesn't I give up.
"You know what? Forget it." I stand up and grab my jacket. As I'm putting it on his head snaps up and his hand grabs my wrist. I freeze.
"Wait! Shai I'm sorry. Please stay," He pleads a little too loudly.
I see that we've caught the attention of three people over at the bar near the entrance, two men - a middle aged one and one teenager - and a woman who looks to be in her sixties.
I sit back down trying not to draw anymore attention to us. "I told you - don't call me Shai."
Theo starts fidgeting and finally he looks straight at me. "I'm sorry I didn't call."
"Well why didn't you? It literally only takes a few minutes. I'm sure you must have had a few to spare."
"Look, I really am sorry. Shai I-" I raise my eyebrows at him. "Shailene, I made a mistake I'm sorry."
