"You see," Rocktail began, "Frostwing, your mother, and your father Bramblefoot didn't want "special" kits. Unfortunately, after we caught them lying we tried to search for you, but you two were already nowhere to be found. So, leaders only have one life instead of nine and us medicine cats no longer get any visions," He finished explaining.

"That sounds terrible!" I remoursed, "I feel so guilty we left."

"You couldn't have known, you didn't do anything wrong," Rocktail responded.

"But what are we supposed to do? How can we free the cat spirits?" Verusalarose admonished.

"I'm not sure yet, but when the time comes you'll know it. Right now, we need to attend a gathering and we don't officially have leaders," Rocktail said worriedly. "You're supposed to be the leader, but you don't know anything. Oh wait! The deputy is going to be back soon, he can lead the clan for now," The suggestion was optimal for this situation.

"That seems like a good solution for now," A cat chimed in. "Oh, I'm the deputy, it's nice to meet you two! My name is Forestwind." The grey and white tom said.

"Oh- it's um, nice to meet you!" My sister stuttered, already purring loudly. "I'm Verusalarose and this is my sister Katerallaviolet," She told him.

"Well it's lovely to meet the both of you," He said with compassion, then he strode off to announce the gathering information to the rest of the clan.

"Let me introduce you to the rest of River Clan, actually you need to eat something, it's a pretty far walk and swim to fourtrees," Rocktail beckoned us to follow him to the prey pile.

A fat mouse and a fat squirrel sat on the top, plump and ready to be eating, fresh from that morning's hunting patrol. "Please, help yourself to the best prey, you're the chosen ones after all," Rocktail nicely said.

"Oh, give the food to a cat who needs it more, just because we are the cats some Star Clan cats chose, it doesn't mean we can't have some compassion and eat something smaller," I kindly requested. Me and my sister took out a small thrush and a smaller mouse, as was our courtesy to elders, kits, and queens.

Forestwind grabbed a small mouse, and sat next to Verusalarose. She was totally flirting around him, meowing at whatever he said and purring the entire time.

After he left, I gave her the look of "spill you need to tell me everything" but she ignored me and finished eating. Not wanting to pressure her into telling me, I excused myself to talk to Blackpelt and Rocktail about what I needed to do at the gathering.

... A few hours later

It was finally nightfall and the full moon was lighting the water to fourtrees, in the distance we could already see SkyClan heading to the gathering place, that meant we were probably going to be late, in a hurry Forestwind organized all the warriors and most of the apprentices, waking us up from the spare den and telling us to head to the middle of the group.

"I can't believe our parents are exiled, I didn't expect that," My sister Verusala whisper-shouted to me.

"Yeah we found out so much today. I'm actually excited to see the other clans!" I quietly shouted back.

We exited the island with the others, wading into the dark waters separating us from the mainland. The clan wasn't going to risk traveling through another cat's territory, like we had accidently done when traveling to RiverClan.

"We are here at the gathering place!" Announced Forestwind.

Hundreds of cats, all; in tidy little groups within their main clan groups, were gathered (Hence the name) around a massive boulder. Four massive oak trees were towering above us, each baren from its leaves.

Me and my sister sat next to each other beside Blackpelt, so that he could tell us who the leaders were.

Forestwind was the first to go up, "I have some important information! I would first like to say that Flowerstar has been exiled from River Clan for not performing as she should have," Gasps were heard amongst the cats, "I am currently temporarily leading River Clan. The reason I have not immediately taken over, is because we have found the chosen cats," a conglomerate of excited chatter and meows uproared into the air, all of them searching the crown to rest their eyes onto us.

Forestwind then proceeded to tell them where we had come from, and what had happened to us. Profusely apologizing that they had not found us sooner. Everyone eventually quieted down, and the Thunder Clan leader rose from his perch on a nearby branch to speak. Flamestar leaped onto the boulder, standing up straight and proud to the cats below him. He first began by talking of his new apprentices, kits, and even warriors. Eventually, he got the matter at hand, "According to the prophecy, Katerallaviolet and Verusalarose are to lead all the clans, with us managing our own clans but with them being in charge overall. I am perfectly willing to accept these terms, just as long as I am still in charge of Thunder Clan. I love being the leader, and I never want to give that up. I know that River Clan is with us, and all I want to know is if Sky Clan, Wind Clan, and Shadowclan is with us.
