Chapter 19:The Park

george pov

its been months since ive seen clay this happy and actually out of the room. he's been less annoyed and talked to us way more. y/n went to her room and clay grabbed me and sap. he brought us into the living room. "hey guys I'm so sorry that I shut you guys out. i was very nervous about her and didn't know how to handle it. sorry again" clay said "clay your fine. we understand that you were worried but you do know you can talk to us about anything right?" I say "yeah what he said" sap chimes in. "yeah I have got to remember that" he said.

y/n walked out of her room. she looks like she changed.

when clay saw her walk out his face had a light shade of pink. "ok so what are we going to do today" she said with a smile. "we could go to the park. i saw one down the street earlier."sap said. clay was still looking at y/n in awe. "yeah lets go there" clay said still zoned out. y/n walked closer to us. "I'm going to go pack a bag" she said. she walked off to her room and clay was still watching her. i walked over to clay "hey your staring at her" he looked over to me. "she pretty" he mumbled under his breath. i chuckled and patted him on the back. he mumbled something else but i couldn't here. y/n walked out with her bag. "ok lets go" she said. me and sap walked out first. i heard y/n laugh a little at something but didn't hear what.

clay pov

i grabbed y/ns hand and brought her closer to me. sap and George sat in the back and me and y/n sat in front. y/n drove. it took about 20 minutes till we got there. i got out of the car and opened the door for y/n. i grabbed her hand and spun her into my chest. "you ready to go" i asked into her hair. I kissed her head and spun her back out.she laughed and grabbed my hand.  "race you to guys to the swing!" she said already running to the swings. the other two heard her and started running as well. i continued walking while laughing. she climbed over the medium size fence near the swings while the boys went through the gate. she jumped off the top and hopped on one of the swings. when the boys saw her on the swings already their jaws dropped. i started wheezing at them. i also jumped over the fence to show them how she got over. "you guys just don't think" I said landing on the ground still laughing at them. she was already swinging. i sat down next to her. 

we stayed at the park for around two hours. "hey y/n you said you skateboard right?" sap said walking over to her. "yeah I usually have my skateboard in my car" she said. "come here look at this. can you drop in?" i walked over and saw a skate park behind the park.sap said. she smiled and nodded her head. "i packed my board in your car before we left is yours in the car" he asked. "i think so." "you wanna try this park." "yes ill go grab my board you want me to grab yours?" she asked. he nodded and she went to go grab them.

i watched her walk away and sap and George look at me. "what?" i ask. "so uh what was that earlier" sap ask me. "what was what?" i ask back. "when she got home" George adds in. "oh um" i could feel my face heating up a bit. "oh and when you saw her walk out of her room before we left you mumbled that she was pretty" George added in again. "got the boards." i heard y/n say. i let out a breath i didn't know i was holding in. "here sap." she said handing him his board.

George looked at her board and walked over to me. "her board represents her right now" he said nudging me. i look at her board and it was a dream catcher.

her and sap ran over to the park and she went up to the drop. sap followed suit. me and George sat on the bench nearby. she got the top and went straight down the ramp. they went around the park doing tricks for around an hour. they came over to us and she smiled at me. she grabbed her board. "I'm ready to go home," sap said looking exhausted.  "ok lets go then" I said standing up. "rematch race lets go!"George said. he started running and y/n chased right after him. sap stayed back with me. y/n and George both hopped over the fence and ran through the parking lot. she dropped the board and skated past George. "Y/N NOT FAIR" I heard George scream. me and sap start laughing. 

y/n won and was now driving and George and sap fell asleep in the back. y/n had her hand on her knee. i reached over and grabbed her hand. she looked over to me and smiled. it was getting late and the sun was setting. i rubbed her hand with my thumb. i was looking over at her. she was admiring the sunset. i heard sap laugh a bit. i looked back and he was the only on awake in the back. "what" I laugh a bit. he saw me looking back and his eyes went wider. "nothing" he said quickly. 

y/n pov

I heard sap laugh but I ignored it. i saw clay turn back and question him while laughing. we pulled up to a stoplight. sap was looking at his phone and clay was looking out the window. i looked at him. he was about to fall asleep. i saw something out of the corner of my eye in my bag. i pull it out of my bag. then I realized that it was something I was working on in the UK. i took the cd out of the case and put it in the cd player and press play.  the first song that I wrote was bubbly(by Colbie Caillat)I saw clay look over at me from the corner of my eye. the stoplight turned green and I continued driving. he didn't look away from me. the song finish and the next one started playing. it was love me like you do (Ellie Goulding) he was smiling a bit. 

we didn't get to finish the cd but I thought id show him more later. sap fell back asleep. we got home and clay woke up sap and george. i unlocked the door and went in. i walked into the kitchen to make food since the boys were complaining that they were hungry. i grabbed a pan and started cooking. i heard someone walk in and then arms snaked around my waist and a chin on my head. "hey love." I heard clay said. my face felt a little warm and I felt butterflies in my stomach. "when did you start calling me love" I said. "uh now well actually that has been your name on my phone for a little bit." he said moving his head down to my shoulder. he turned his head slightly. "your really pretty" he mumbled into my neck. i laughed a bit. "what you are" he said again it. "thank you" I said quietly. "can I help you make food"  "yeah sure" I said. "can you grab the taco stuff from the fridge" "yeah sure"
