alright mom, i'm heading out!' i grab a little bag with my money and some snacks for the day.
'so early? where are you going miss?'
'oh just going around town and meet up with friends and maybe help around. you know how i am'
i give her a smile but in reality i liked to jumó around roofs and explore the city of progress.

im almost never allowed to go out alone because my parents are very strict about that.
we live relatively close to the bridge connecting Zaun and Piltover. so we always have to be on the look out for anyone sneaking out from zaun and breaking in houses to steal. honestly, what's their deal anyways.

because if that i could never enjoy my childhood without wanting to sneak out and look over at the beautiful city of piltover.

'remember to come back before your father comes back and also for dinner. and very careful out there, one wrong move and you don't leave the house until you're 18.'
she looked at me fiercely and after a few seconds she turns away and continues to work on a device she was working on for almost a month.

my parents are inventors and geniuses for technology but i just want to explore and see what's beyond this bubble of protection i'm being put in.

i head out and quickly go to the nearest alleyway and climb some ladders and head to the climbing some rusty tubes that looked like were about to rip off but before that could happen i already reached the roof of the building.

panting and shaking off the sweat off my forehead i walk fowards and see many airships in the sky and the crowded chatter of piltover.
now this felt good.

i looked at my watch and it counted 30 minutes of me jumping around rooftops.
i look up but something catches the corner of my eye.
it was 4 people.. kids?
they were climbing a wall and eventually got to the top.

i don't really mind them, they're maybe doing the same as me.
but they looked different, mostly their clothes.
by the looks of it, maybe they were from zaun.

i remember what my mom said and i quickly duck before the pink haired girl could spot me. seems like she was the leader of the pack. her hair makes her stand out a lot.

i stared at my shiny (h/c). i slightly touched it
and though..
even if i had clothes like theirs you could recognize i'm from piltover from just my hair and my face. i look so much healthier than the people who were standing some buildings away from me.

even though i wanted to follow them and see what they were doing.
it's better for me to leave from this block.
if they're doing down nasty business up here, i don't want to get caught in whatever dangerous stuff is going to happen.

i sigh and head back a little bit more.
i look back at them and see they were going toward the academy's apartments.
probably going to break in and steal.
i don't blame them, they don't have much down there and we have plenty.
just, this isn't the right way of obtaining money.

i shake my head and sit down and start drinking some of the water i took with me.
i take a sip but a few minutes after that i hear a small explosion.
i look aver and see there was blue sparkles around the air.
taking a moment to inspect them, i quickly snap back and see some enforcers chasing them.

yup. i knew it
trouble.

the enforcers should be able to catch them
but of course since this doesn't happen every day i'm curious to see.
i stop at the last roof top and see as they jump the bridge.

did a wave of experienced soldier let some kids from zaun get away with a break in?
yes.

i can still get a good view of them running. there are some enforcers chasing them but the pink haired girl split up with them and went in another alleyway.
i can't see anymore so i carefully mie my way down from the roof and contemplate if i should find the girl.
