"Why are you doing this to me?" Driti asks while tears stream down her face.
"Don't forget who you are talking with. I am your husband and I can do whatever I want." Reeyansh replies harshly without any regret.
"But I am hurting. Can't you see that? I am a human being after all." Driti says trying to understand why she is getting punished.
"You are only an object for me. Nothing more than that. Now, stop crying and clean my bedroom. I have a date tonight and then some fun to do." Reeyansh replies nonchalantly not caring that how much his words are hurting poor Driti.
"Please just kill me, it's better than seeing you with different women." Driti whispers but Reeyansh hears it clearly which makes him happy to know that he is accomplishing the things he wants.
"I can fulfill at least one of your wish and don't worry this wish of yours is definitely my favorite one. But not so soon sweetheart. The game has just started so just let's have some fun first." Reeyansh remarks with a cruel smile which sends a shiver down Driti's spine.
"But at least tell me what have I done to make you hate me so much?" Driti asks while heavy sobs rack her body.
"Everything will be known in due time but till then let me have my fun." Reeyansh replies with a sinister look.
"Then I am also promising you that I will prove you wrong." Driti lets out while wiping her tears furiously.
"And how will you do that?" Reeyansh asks mockingly.
"By loving you." Driti answers looking straight into her husband's eyes.
"You are so delusional, sweetheart. I am not going to fall for your charms." Reeyansh remarks with a smirk.
"I am not delusional. Whatever I am saying is the truth, I can see in your eyes that you are hungry for love. You may show that you only care about money and sex. But in reality, your heart wants to be loved and believe me, no one will love you the way I do." Driti answers not backing out this time.
"Then lets the real game begin. I will break you so badly that you will forget how to love." Reeyansh challenges.
"And I will love you so deeply that you will regret causing pain to me." Driti challenges back.
"Time will tell who's going to win. Revenge Or Love." Reeyansh says before storming out of the room leaving Driti all alone.

She has completed her master's in interior designing and now looking forward to get a good job soon. Although she is a believer in romantic fantasies but not in a unrealistic way. She is a sensible type of person who knows how to deal with situations perfectly.

This is my first dark themed story where there will be many scenes which are very sensitive. So, I will request you to read them on your risk. Nonetheless I will also suggest you to give this story a chance so that I can get inspiration to write more stories in this genre.
