*ring ring*
"Hello?" Ki Chul immediately picked up her phone when she saw that it was Taehyun calling.
Taehyun: Hey, are you busy?
Ki Chul: Its a Friday, so not really. Why?
Taehyun: Do you mind having dinner with us?
Ki Chul: You mean with the boys?
Taehyun: No actually. Its with me, mom, and my dad.
Ki Chul: Your dad?? You want me to meet your dad?
Taehyun: Yeah, why not? He actually wants to meet you, too.
Ki Chul: Wait, what? He knows who I am??
Taehyun: Yep. So, are you in?
Ki Chul: *sighs* Fine, I'm coming.
Taehyun: Great! I'll pick you up in 30 minutes. Dress nicely.
Ki Chul: Where are we going?
Taehyun: Somewhere. You'll see. Wear a dress or something.
Ki Chul: A dress?? Wait- Taehyun? Kang Taehyun!
Ki Chul heaves a sigh as Taehyun cuts the call. With the pressure of time, she immediately took a short bath, put on a simple night blue dress that reached to her knees, blow dried her hair straight and put on a few pearl clips, did her simple makeup, and got her shoulder bag ready.
'Gosh. Where are we even going that I have to dress this nicely? Why do I even have to tag along with them; the Kang family?'
She walked out of her room while placing her phone in bag before walking down the stairs. When she reached the downstairs, she spotted Ria playing with Lily.
"Ria-unnie, I'll be out for a while. Tell auntie that I might be home by 8 or 9 when she gets back."
Ria glanced at her and her jaw drops. She then runs to Ki Chul, stumbling along the way. "Ooh l la la. Where are you going?"
"I'm just going out for dinner with a friend"
"Uh huh. To me, it looks like your boyfriend will be taking you out to a fancy restaurant"
"This one is someone else- wait, I don't even have a boyfriend!"
"You soon will"
"Whatever, I'm going" Ki Chul hastily said especially after hearing a honk outside.
She got out of the house, and there she saw Taehyun, in a back slick suit, by their front gate. They greeted each other as Taehyun guided her to the backseat of a car. The driver then drove off the driveway.
"So... where are we going?" Ki Chul curiously asked.
