When I awoke, the sun was just beginning to rise and it was the most beautiful sunrise that I had ever seen.  Jace and Kayden were still fast asleep, but I was completely wide awake and ready to continue on our way to Caseraida.  After admiring the sky some more, a familiar voice filled my head and I nearly jumped from surprise.

'Sleep well?'  The voice chuckled and when I thought about asking whether or not he could hear and see all of my thoughts; even when I was asleep.  'Yes, I can.  Your dream was beautiful and I could see it all again.'

'Is your name Goldar?'  I didn't hesitate with this question.

'I think that you already know the answer to that...'  I could imagine him smirking at that moment with his words.

'Why won't Jace or Kayden tell me anything about you?'

'They will, don't worry.  All they're trying to do is not overwhelm you with all of the information that you want to know.  Trust me, I want you to know just as much as you do, but even the smallest little thing can change everything.'

'So you won't even tell me if your alive or not?'

'Both.'

'Wait, so you're dead, but you're also not?'  I sounded more confused than I wanted to.

'You'll understand once the time comes and you meet the Dragon King of today.'

'Well, I guess that I'll be finding out pretty soon then.'

'I can't wait to see him.'

'You haven't seen the Dragon King?'

'I've already said too much.'

'You don't have to tell me if you don't want to...'  I watch as Kayden and Jace slowly wake up.

'Now that they're awake, I'll leave you alone so that you can talk to them.'

'You're a great person to talk to, I'll talk to you when I get tired of them.'  I smiled both externally and internally, obviously rubbing off on him.

He laughed and his voice sounded happier.  'I'll be waiting...'

After we packed everything up, we started walking instead of flying, but then that changed as soon as we got to a huge canyon.  My two companions shifted and soared high up into the sky, leaving me to try to catch up to them.  As high as we were, everything still seemed to be just as big as when we were on the ground.

'Ambrissa!  Are you listening to me!?'  I snapped out of my trance at Kayden's voice.

'Sorry, what were you saying?'  Good thing that my soloflyte showed no emotions.

'We're here, now show respect to the King.'

When we landed on the ground and shifted back into our human forms, I cocked an eyebrow at him.  "What happens if I don't?"

"Then everyone here will have an even bigger reason to hate Melonia and you could start a war."  His tone held so much seriousness that I nearly pissed myself.

As we continued walking to the castle doors, I saw how big the castle was.  It looked as if it had been carved out of crystalized gold, minus the doors which looked like ruby.  I almost didn't even wanna go in there because I didn't want to get anything dirty or break something.  There weren't any guards at the doors, Kayden just waved his hand and straightened his arm.  No noise came from the doors when they opened up to a beautiful hall with silver columns going past the ceiling.
