Chapter 5: A friendly meet up

A/n: sorry this one took me a while. I just had a hard time thinking plus i have school, and my other story has been doing really good and i ended getting tons of idea's for that one so yea.. Sorry also this is gonna be a little short. There is not too much of a point for this chapter I'm just putting it in to help the storyline go on.

Your name is karkat and you are getting ready to meet up with your friends and Nepeta's friends at the mall. You want to talk to one of your good friends first for some cool guy pointers.

CarcinoGeneticist began pestering TurntechGodhead

CG: DAVE

TG: what's up kitkat? I heard your beat the crap out of some snobby kid yesterday. I'm proud

CG: YEA YEA, I GET IT. THANKS FOR ALL THAT BUT I NEED SOME POINTERS...

TG: hahaha wait, you need pointers? For what?

CG: YOU KNOW... BEING COOL.

TG: excuse me?

CG:I NEED TIPS ON BEING COOL!

TG: oh um... Well i mean, i would but i honestly think Nepeta likes you for you.

CG: ARE YOU SURE? THAT'S NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE.

TG: yea, i mean you weren't cool before.. And she liked you then, so she must like you for yourself.

CG: OH, I GUESS I NEVER REALLY THOUGHT ABOUT IT LIKE THAT, UM THANKS

TG: later

You look up, you were honestly looking by tons of comments, tips and insults but you suppose his advice was better cause the other thing was probably just kill your self esteem in more ways than one.

You put on your skinny dark blue jeans and your big black hoodie with the cancer symbol on it and you walk to the mall. You meet up with Sollux, Nepeta, Equius, Terezi, John, Dave, Jade, Kanaya and Vriska. Some of these people you don't know very well but you honestly don't care as long as you have fun and more importantly are with Nepeta.

You greet the others casually but are subtile when you walk up to Nepeta. "HI NEPETA" she jumped "oh you scared me karkitty." She giggled, "what do mew have behind mewr back?" "FOR YOU," you pull out a bouquet of flowers and hand them to her. She blushes really dark and giggles "thanks."

Your day is somewhat fun you suppose, the only really boring part is sitting outside holding the girls purses while they go try on cloths. It's demeaning, but your fine with it since they were actually quick. That actually very much surprised you.

You end up at the end of the day, going and watching a movie. You enjoyed it the most since it was a rom com. You enjoyed it more than the girls, that's kinda weird you suppose but honestly it doesn't matter cause sexist jokes weren't gonna change anything.

You really just enjoyed the movie cause you sat with Nepeta resting her head on your shoulder with your arm around her.
