Marinette pressed herself against the chilled was of Francois Dupont Asylum. She quickly whiped her tears from her face, looking at her kwami.
"Tikki, I have to do it, I'm so sorry." Marinette said holding her kwami in her hands. Tikki started floating, frantically.
"Marinette! No! You know there is a huge price to pay in exchange!" Tikki yelled, crying frantically. Marinette sighed and glanced at her floor.
"The last thing I want to do is hurt Chat. But its for Adrien." Marinette paused looking back at Tikki. "Tikki, spots on." She said letting the magic consume her. She jumped out the window, prepared to steal the miraculous of the black cat.
Four years ago..
Marinette walked into school, her pigtails bouncing with every step. She was lookig for her best friend, Adrien. Her eyes found Felix. Adrien's cousin. They looked exactly the same, but their style and additudes kept them apart. Marinette skipped to Felix, who seemed down. Almost Adrien like.
"Hey Felix! Have you see Adrien?" Marinette asked. She flicked her pigtails back.
"Adrien's dead, Marinette." Felix said coldly. Marinette froze, tears escaped her eyes.
"Stop lying, Felix! Where is Adrien! He can't be! He can't be," Marinette rambled on.
"Get over it, Marinette. He died." Felix said, he shoulder checked her and walked off. Marinette collapsed to the ground, sobbing.
Two weeks later..
"Adrien, stop telling people you're Felix! He died in the accident and this is getting ridiculous!" Gabriel screamed at Adrien.
Suprise, Suprise, it was Felix who died. Not Adrien. Adrien had been in the car when Felix had died instantly. Adrien vowed to be the one that died that night. Hurting everyone in his path. Including Marinette. He had became Felix.
"I'm not Adrien, Uncle!" Adrien screamed.
"Yes you are!"
"No!" Adrien paused, "I am Felix!"
"Thats enough! I'm sending you away." Gabriel said. Everything chilled his bones, shivering him.
"What?" Adrien said.
"You've gone crazy, and I wont put up with it anymore. You've sent Marinette away, you know that right? She tried to harm herself! Nobody can convince her that Felix is the one that died, Adrien. Look at what you've done." Gabriel said. A few police officers swarmed the room, as Adrien was frightened.
Marinette.. no..
Not Marinette..
Adrien still was stuck in his denial as the officers dragged him along sending him away. He still couldn't admit that he wasn't Felix, yet. But his heart cried for Marinette.
One week before..
Marinette had written the letter, tears in her eyes.
"I'm coming Adrien," she whispered.
Sabine and Tom have begged for Marinette to listen to them.
"Sweetie, It's Felix that died in the crash. I don't know how many times we have to tell you." Sabine begged.
"I saw Felix with my own two eyes! You can't convince me otherwise. I'm not stupid, Maman!" Marinette said. Sabine grew angry.
"That's enough, Marinette!" Sabine shouted. She wipped her tears and stood up. "Officers, you can take her now." Sabine said not even looking at Marinette.
