Amelia's POV
Ok, I've been in hospital for 4 days now. I'm getting pretty bored of it. Staring at the same thing over and over and over again everyday. The boys have barely left the hospital. I keep telling them that I'll be fine and it'll all be okay but they just ignore me. All they seem to want to do is wait on me all the time.

Charlie sat on the arm chair next to me, just talking. He talks a lot. Not about anything in particular, just anything and everything.
"Charlie, how much longer do you think I'll be in here for?" I asked, hoping for a positive response.
"Not long I'm hoping. Need to get this date sorted out." He replied, a slight smirk spreading across his face. As of right on cue, the doctor walked in the room and stood at the end of my bed.
"Okay, so once all this paperwork has been signed, you are free to go Mrs Dunford." The doctor said with a smile.
I was relieved to be honest. Happy, very happy, that I could finally go home.
Home...
Home?
Where is home?
I have no where to live anymore. I can't go back to Andrew's house, I have no house of my own and I don't want to burden the boys by asking to stay with them.

My look of joy quickly turned into a look of sadness.
"Hey, I thought you'd be more excited about going home. What's wrong?" Charlie asked sympathetically.
"Where am I meant to go? I have I home now?" I replied bluntly.
"What are you talking about?" Charlie said with a little chuckle. "You know you're more than welcome to stay with us. We all love you man. We want what's best for you."
"You hardly know me. For all you know I could be an axed murderer or something." I proclaimed, joking on.
"There's always that possibility!" Charlie laughed, obviously finding my comment hilarious. Jeez I didn't think it was that funny.
"You're finding this way funnier than you probably should do you know..." I continued, with a straight face.
"Seriously though, if you were an axed murderer do you really think you'd be in hospital after getting beaten up?" Charlie smirked. He had a point.
"Fair enough" I laughed.

"Right Amelia, you are free to leave the hospital. Do you have a way of getting home?" The doctor announced as he strode in the room.
"Yeah, my house-mate, casey, is coming to pick us up." Charlie said before I could answer.
"Right, well if that's the case, you may leave." The doctor said, giving me a reassuring smile.

There are a lot of mirrors here. We were walking through the corridors to the front entrance to find Casey but I kept glancing in mirrors every so often as I walked past. I must've taken a hard beating because my bruises still aren't healing properly and my ribs still hurt. But what am I to expect, my rips weren't magically going to fix themselves. It's gonna take time. Saying that, the doctor wouldn't have let me leave if I wasn't fully fit to. So I must have made a decent recovery so far... Right?

We reached the entrance of the hospital when I just stood still. Unable to move any further.
"Don't worry princess, he will never come near you again. I won't let him. Don't let the fear of him control your life. Casey will be out there and i promise we can go straight home and relax." Charlie explained, putting his arm around my waist and lightly pulling me into his side.
"After everything that's happened, I don't know if I'm ready to leave yet. How will I know when I'm really safe from Andrew?" I replied sorrowfully.
"As long as me or any of the boys are with you you'll be safe. Try to forget about everything. The past is in the past." I nodded and continued to walk out of the building.
The past is in the past. I pray to God that Charlie's right about that.
