"ah, finally," the girl said, directing it to no one in particular, but to herself. "it's just me, myself and i."
she continued roaming around whale island, after settling in her relative's house. noticing a forest, she went in, mentally reminding herself to not go far.
walking, and walking, and walking.. ah! she bumped into something, or more specifically someone.. our cute little frog boy.

"ow! oh, hi!" a cheery greenish-black haired boy said, completely overlooking the fact that you are a stranger he bumped into in the forest.
"hello, um.." you said trailing off at the end, hinting for him to tell you his name. "gon, that's my name! ^^"
you decided to just be friendly, as it doesn't seem like he has any ill intent. "okay, my name's y/n!"
"it's nice to meet you, i'm gon! do you wanna go around Whale island with me? :D"
"sure!!"
"okay!" gon said as he grabbed your hand and took you around Whale island, telling you all about places and people you passed by.
you must've not been paying attention, as time flied by like a bird. you only noticed that the stars were already out.
"hey, y/n-chan, wanna watch the stars?" gon said, admiring the dark navy sky. "sure!"
