Chapter 10

"Vice-versa?" he smirked. Oh no! Shit!

It all happened in slow motion. His hand came flying in the air out of nowhere as my mind got freakin' scared. I closed my eyes and after a second felt pressure on my stomach. It felt hard. It felt like the end of the world even though I knew it wasn't. My body bent over as I coughed. It was immense pain, but it's not like I can't bear it. I've fallen a lot of times before. I've got hurt before.

Pain from a hit is a feeling that lasts some time, but in the future, it gets cured. But the pain in the heart is a pain that has no medicine. And when you have that, this is nothing to you.

Jin's voice rang in my ears, "Yujin!! Don't you dare touch her!"

My eyes were closed and my head was faced down. Even though I couldn't see, I could feel how much fun the guys were having right now.

"Shut up," they yelled as they started beating Jin to make him unconscious. With two guys holding him, there's no way he can escape.

But it had no effect on me. I was drowned in my thoughts. What was I here for? I just dragged him down. Why can't I help? Why am I weak? Why is it that he has to protect me? Why can't I be a help for once?!

Jin's voice started to echo in my brain.

That's the only thing you can do

That's the only thing you can do

That's the only thing you can do

That's the only thi—

NO. That's not the only thing I can do! I can do more and I'll prove it to you. I said I'll prove it to you someday, but that day is today. I'll show you what I can do, and you'll see.

I had this epiphany and I did the next right thing.

I raised my elbow and pushed it back. It hit the man holding me in the face and he let go of me. I intertwined my leg in his and pulled it. He lost his balance and fell. And thanks to my recent fights with Taehyung, I had this kind of experience. I punched that guy in the face and he was knocked out. But as I stood up, one of the guys holding Jin threw a knife at me. It flew out of the apartment, slicing a little on my shoulder.

I held my shoulder and whined in pain. Jin was already hurt enough to do any actions.

"Crap. I swear, if we had guns, we'd have blown your tiny head to blood, but we used up all the bullets in the training session!" the guy muttered.

I sighed in relief. But my shoulder was killing me.

One of the guys came towards me, and I had nothing for defense. I closed my eyes and kicked him. But after a second when I opened my eyes, the scene was different than I imagined.

I had expected him to laugh when my kick would've had no effect, but he was lying on the floor cupping his that.

Now, THAT was pure luck.

Two down, one to go. It was a two vs. one match.

I got to a punching position even though I've never done punching classes. The man obviously knew that he couldn't let Jin go, even though he's probably unconscious.

But just when I thought things were gonna go crazy, it went crazy.

A different way.

A weird way.

Jin pushed himself out of the man's grip and punched him. The man backed up and looked at Jin. I looked at Jin, and you'd never believe what I saw.

His eyes were closed.

He was still unconscious.

But he was fighting.

What the hell!

The man looked sort of terrified and he also had an 'I regret my job' kinda look. You know what I mean.

Jin got into battle and it was kinda creepy to watch him fight perfectly with his eyes closed. As if he was sleeping!

But my moment of worry was my shoulder since it was killing me. I didn't know how long I'd last.

Jin punched that guy again and he fell to the ground but was ready to get up.

That's it. That's all I can handle. We are normal people, and we can't burn our day fighting these guys for no reason. We needed the diary, we got the diary, so let's get moving.

I went up to Jin and shook him real hard. My memory flashed back to me. This is the exact same thing that happened today morning! He woke up and said good morning, but he had no sense at all. And I had to shake him hard to get him back to his senses.

Jin suddenly fluttered his eyes open and looked at me, "Yujin?"

"Do you tend to do stuff unconsciously sometimes or what? Cause it must have a perfect explanation."

"What?" Was all he could say before I started again.

"It was like you were sleepwalking without actually sleeping! More like...mind-less walking."

"Umm...I—"

"No time to answer we gotta go," I said, bearing the pain on my shoulder. It was getting worse and worse.

"Yujin, your shoulder. It's bleeding."

"It doesn't matter. I can...handle it." I said, even though I couldn't.

Jin punched that man once again since he had come to get him again.

"Fine. Let's go then," He said and we began to run.

We exited the gate and took a cab home just like how we came.

Everything is fineeee...

The world is a circle

Unicorns are flying in the sky

A skull-faced window cleaner is beside me

*Fainted*
