Ground filled with bones,
From grace I fell.
My skin dissolving to golden dust ,
Glittering its way to hell.
When I glimpsed beneath,
The flames violently soared.
Striving to burn the witch,
My tears quenched the fire as they poured. As the pit unfurled,
The screams echoed.
I shut my eyes tightly,
Listening to the dead hum their ode.
Amongst the screams,
Your voice fought its way to my head.
Your memories wrapped around my bones,
Raised me from the dead. When I was drowning,
The waters sucking my soul.
You were ready to fight the waters,
Fighting for the soul they stole.
I still put him before you,
The one who buried me.
When you were the one who made the deal with the devil,
So another day I could see.
