I've been through it twice. The first time I had the removal of am extra toe it runs in my mom's side of the family and skips a generation. The second time was my biggest nightmare. I was supposed to get my adenoids out and then I woke up. I could taste metal and blood in my mouth, it was my own blood. I looked around and I saw a table containing several sharp tools covered in blood and a bloody piece of meat which I assumed where my adenoids. I couldn't feel anything and I was grateful that the anesthetic hadn't worn off completely. Then I overhead something I probably shouldn't have. "We have enough of her bodily tissue it won't be evident however it's just enough to begin out expirment" what is this man talking about? "Dr.smith she has woken up I'm not sure if she heard you but her eyes are open" Great I've been discovered. Then I do something completely stupid I guess it was just my foggy mind. I sit up and I start to yell "WHERE IS MY MOM I WANT TO SEE MY MOTHER!". Next thing I know two nurses pin me down to the table and strap me down. "Calm down sweatheart it's alright you woke up a little early we're just going to put you to sleep and finish" "DO NOT TOUCH ME!" I scream at her and the other one says "oh my god it always makes things harder calm down you will see your mother in a few minutes nothing is going to happen to you. I feel a sharp pain in my arm and I'm out.
