Dust dropped down on their shoulders, feeling heavier than it had ever done. Everything seemed more loud and obnoxious when you're hurt. How crazy.

Hurt.

Being honest, that was no way to describe how Namjoon felt. He thought he knew Jungkook. His soft childish Jungkook who tried his best to not pick off of the older's plate but gave in, apologising all the way. Jungkook who he thought could never hurt a fly. People change but this was a lot. Too much. Overwhelming. So many emotions.

"Baby I'm still the same-" Namjoon ignored the stinging that raced through his hand. He had never thought once in his life that he'd slap his soulmate. Jungkook was his soulmate. Despite the doubts that were running through his mind. "I'm sorry Namjoonie please..."

"Fuck- why'd you fucking.. God I'm so frustrated, Jungkook." Namjoon seethed, pulling out a couple strands of his hair on accident.

"Baby you know me, I'm careful-"

"FUCKING AND? YOU ARE KILLING PEOPLE JUNGKOOK- AND THE DAMN DRUGS- FUCKING HELL DO I NEED TO SPELL IT OUT!?" Jungkook's head hung low. He regretted telling Namjoon but he couldn't bare to hide it from him any longer. His mother always said love would kill him. His train of thoughts stopped when he heard weak sobs across him. His hands and heart got slapped when he tried to hug the older. "Don't fucking touch me."

"Baby please, I can finally provide for us, we can move out of this horrible apartment we'll live the life we've always dreamed of!" Namjoon shook his head. "I get it... I don't blame you darling. Do you want-" he choked up at the words he knew he needed to say. "Do you wanna take a break baby?" Namjoon nodded, feeling his heart shatter into pieces at the sight of his Jungkookie crying. "Promise me you- you'll think about it? I'm never ever gonna even try and touch someone with you gone- you know?"

"I'm sorry Kookie-"

"It's not your fault darling."

"If I'd just- I don't know- fuckin' skipped college and uni I could've taken on more hours and you wouldn't have to be... this..." Jungkook sighed, glancing up at Namjoon as he took the latter's hand.

He laid a kiss on each knuckle, letting his lips linger after each one to seal in his love. "I'll send you money everyday my darling, I can't leave you with nothing." He whispered, just loud enough for Namjoon to hear. He wondered if the neighbours heard them, if they did would they call the cops? Then again pretty much everyone in this area except Namjoon and Jungkook (now just Namjoon) were crooks.

"Jungkook I'm not accepting dirty money-"

"Please my love, keep it in savings- splurge it- I don't care! Just let me take care of you in some way. I can't leave you. My soulmate." They were soulmates. They must've been. Namjoon and Jungkook were a match made in heaven. I guess Heaven has stormy days as well. But this wasn't just a stormy day.
