"This could fit in my ass," Addison muttered holding up a gourd. "Has anyone tried that?" He and Oliver were the only ones that decided to help set up for the festival, no surprise.
"Judging by the way you're eyeing it, I'm assuming you want to?" Gabriel grinned. "I wonder what your boyfriend would think."
"What boyfriend?"
"My brother."
Addison grimaced, "Ew. No, Oliver and I are not together. If you're gonna blurt out lies do it where you're welcome."
"Oliver said I was welcome. He told me to help set up." The boy lounged back in a chair, basically the opposite of what Oliver sent him to do.
"If he told you to help out, why are you sitting on your ass?" Addison threw him a decoration. "Go hang this at a booth."
Gabe caught the ornament and the faint smell of musk sent Addison stepping back into the heaven of fresh air. "What the hell are you wearing?"
Gabe sniffed his shirt. "What? It doesn't smell good?" The boy's eyes widened. "Oliver told me to wear it to impress Autumn."
Oliver came up behind him and kissed him on the cheek. Addison immediately pushed him off and scowled.
He took the box of fall ornaments out of Addison's hands, "I didn't tell you to wear that. I specifically told you not to wear it. Trust me, strong cologne doesn't impress girls. If anything it just repels them."
"Well yeah, but you're into guys. You don't know how to impress girls so I purposely went against your advice."
His older brother grinned, "Trust me I impress more girls than you do with your 6 in 1 body wash" Oliver grinned and handed Addison a piece of decor. He gave Oliver a quick look of appreciation before sticking it to the kiosk.
"6 in 1?!" Addison cringed. "What, does it come with toothpaste too?"
"It's all-purpose." Gabe shrugged. "Work smarter not harder." Gabriel sniffed himself one more time before frowning. "You don't think she'll like it?"
Addison and Oliver gave each other knowing grins and shrugged.
Autumn was Gabe's soon-to-be girlfriend. One mention of her and he'd sober up in a second, turn into the "man" he thinks he is.
"You must really like her," Addison commented.
"He does." Oliver stood up and handed Addison an envelope from out of his pocket.
"What's this?"
"It's some money, for your parents. It's not enough for bills or anything, but it may be able to help them out with some groceries."
"I told him you wouldn't take it but he wouldn't let it go," Gabe muttered.
Addison frowned, "Gabe was right. We're not taking it, but thank you for the thought." He handed it back, picked up the box of decorations, and began walking to another empty booth.
Oliver went after him, "Addison come on. Just take it. I went through a lot to get it."
"What the hell did you do?"
Oliver glanced back at a preoccupied Gabe and whispered, "I stole it from my dad."
"You what-"
"-Shhhh. Gabe doesn't know, if he finds out he'll get pissed."
"Yeah so will your dad. Oliver, return it and stop worrying about my parents. They're helping you because they want to. Not because they want something in return."
Oliver opened his mouth to speak and stopped himself. He surveyed Addison's face as if searching for a lie.
"It's the truth-"
He was then interrupted by Oliver cupping his face and kissing his lips. Addison pulled away and glanced to the side, "What are you doing?"
"I'm just thanking you," Oliver muttered before linking their lips again. Addison let the decoration drop. His hands linger in the air as Oliver's lips moved against his, before latching on to the boy's wrists.
You know those scenes in romance movies, where the camera pans around the main characters sucking each other's faces off in public?
The people around them watch in awe, depending on the movie some even cheer.
Well, Addison's movie is a little different. While Oliver sucked his lips swollen, Gabe groaned in the background. He even threw in a few gags for "comedic purposes."
"Can you two stop it before people start showing up?"
Oliver unhurriedly drew back, hands still gripping the boy's face. He stared into his eyes and Addison gazed back. Oliver grinned, "Just ignore him-"
Gabe threw a pumpkin decoration at the two, successfully breaking them apart.
"Autumn said she's gonna come early, I don't want her showing up to a gay porno, sorry."
"He's right." Oliver sighed before kissing him again. "We should finish up."
Addison nodded, only to be drawn back into another kiss. "Oliver, in order to do that you have to actually step away from me." He smiled onto his lips before pecking him one more time and stepping back. "If you want, we can continue later though."
Oliver grinned back, "I may have to take you up on that offer."
"Wow, maybe he won't have to use the gourd after all," Gabe muttered. "You guys are disgusting."
"God, you're annoying." Addison sighed.
"Who?" Gabriel grinned.
"You-"
"-asked."
Oliver clapped his brother on the back and laughed, "That was good."
"It wasn't," Addison muttered.
He finished decorating by himself because Gabe and Oliver started talking about how Gabe would "woo" Autumn.
"Well, what angle was the picture from?" Addison overheard Oliver ask. "The angles make it look bigger. You can go from 6 to 8 in seconds. Just hold it right. I told you that last week. You never fucking listen to me."
"Because how do I know you're telling the truth?"
Addison heard the smirk in his voice, "Addison's seen it first hand."
"Ew." Gabe groaned
By the time people started showing up to set up their booths, the area was covered with all sorts of decorations. A little unnecessary? Yes. Satisfying to the eye? Definitely.
He sighed when he realized he had to work the festival. And being that no one from the football team nor cheer team showed up, it was on him and Oliver.
They already couldn't wait for it to be over.
