Partners In Crime

I run silently across the glass roof of the museum, eyes darting in all directions for the signal. Suddenly... "HANDS UP!", screams a voice in the darkness.

The sudden noise makes me jump so I snatch the gun hanging from my belt and aim it into the darkness. Just as I'm about to pull the trigger I feel two hands come from behind me, one grabs my hand and in extension my gun and the other pulls out it's own gun, aiming it for my head. I freeze in fear but am able to slowly turn around and face my captor. Expecting to see a suit wearing spy or even a dull blue covered security guard i am annoyed yet relived to see Crystal's familiar face. "Seriously Green, you just had to give me a heart attack, didn't you. This isn't a joke! I nearly pulled the trigger on you!", I whisper yell at her, removing the gun from my head and facing her.

She giggles quietly before looking down and into the museum. She removes a pane of glass then looks up at me expectedly. I pull out the rope from my belt and tie it around her waist. She lowers me down pretty easily considering we've done this many times and the floor is quite near. I wait until I am securely on the floor before giving her the signal and she jumps down, letting me catch her.

We move silently amongst the priceless paintings and ancient pottery before finding our prize. In a glass case, a maroon cushion lays. On it, sits the world's largest emerald worth over 3 million dollars. I stare into it's seductive green gem and can almost picture the wealth it contains. Suddenly, Crystal pulls me to the side and behind a display, knocking me out of my trance and allowing me to notice the approaching shadow. "Show yourself thief!", the security guard screams into the darkness, shining his flashlight around.

I look all around for a way out before spotting a half-open window, i point at the window before quickly tapping my plan in morse code on Crystal's shoulder. Go window. Crystal nods before quickly running to the window and waiting for me.

In a last ditch attempt to get that necklace I pull out my gun and shoot the glass surrounding it, sounding the alarm and scaring the security guard. I jump up and grab the necklace before rolling away from the angry police officer as he calls for backup and fumbles around to grab his gun. Running towards Crystal I pull out one of the rocks I keep in my pocket and throw it at the side of the window, opening it fully before grabbing the confused and slightly terrified Crystal with my as I jump out the window. I hear three shots of a gun right above me and see about 10 police officers run in.

Free falling i turn to see Crystal searching for something to break the fall from the 6th story window. I look around, my black and pink eyes landing on a flagpole. I grab my rope and use it as a lasso, looping it around the flagpole hanging off the side of the museum and grabbing Crystal my the back of her hoodie. I quickly lower us down and pull back my rope just as Crystal grabs my arm as she spots the security guards rushing down the fire escape stairs and pulls me to our getaway car and we make our escape. Driving down the street in our jet black Toyota and leaving the guards in our dust.

This au is about Mimi-Chan and Crystal, two characters I made up. They kind of like each other but whatever, I like reading comments btw
