Chapter 1

"Mama?.. Papa?.." You, Y/N, cried.

"Y/N...? Y-you're eyes..." Your mother said, as she and your father stepped back.

You walked to the water fountain at the park, wondering what your parents had saw. The kids never wanted to play with you, because you never talked to them. Looking over at a girl that's staring at you, you hear something.

"What a freak!" The girl had said.

You stood up and walked over to her, "I'm not a freak!"

"I didn't say that!" The girl looked at you, confused.

"Yes you did! I heard you." Tears fell down your face, you knew she was lying.

"But I didn't say that!" Proccesing what happened, she then said, "You ARE a freak! AHHHH!" She ran away yelling, "THEY READ MY MIND! THEY ARE A FREAK!!"

You cried and went back home. Once you stepped in your house, your mother came and said, "My dear! Why are you crying?"

"Mama....someone called me a freak." You cried some more.

"F*ck that girl, my daughter isn't a freak!" You heard your mother say.

"Mama, can you speak with your mouth closed?" You looked at her, puzzled.

"No, my dear. Why?" Your mother gave you the same look as you gave her.

"But, you said 'F that Girl, my daughter isn't a freak.' with your mouth closed!" You stomped your foot, thinking she was lying.

"Honey...I didn't say that. That was.." Your mother stared at you, frightened.

"M/N...Come here." Your father stepped in and grabbed your mom, he overheard everything.

You could hear little whispers coming from your mother and father in the kitchen. You heard some words that were, "Do you think...she has a gift?" "We need answers!" "We have to go to the Madrigals." "Pack everything! Get the horse!"

"Mama? Papa?" You asked as you saw everything being packed.

All of your belongings were packed. You hopped on your mother's lap once she sat down, then your father lead the way.

Hours later, winds were picking up on the trail to the town Encanto. The trail was breaking apart, and guards were chasing you guys. "Go faster!" Your father slapped the horse for it to go faster, but it was no use. The guards caught up and shot the horse. Your father fell off the horse while your mother tried to run. She got stuck on a stick. Crying, your mother hesitated. She told you, "We love you..."

Then, she threw you to the bushes to hide.

"Mama!!" You cried.

Hiding in the bushes, you heard your parents being murdered by the guards. Your parents pleaded but the guards only said, "This is what you get for going into claimed territory.

You cried silently and heard they're last words, "Y/N! RUN AWAY, MI AMOR!"

The guards stabbed them with their swords and carried them away.

You got out the bushes to see your parents blood on the trail..

You fell to your knees, sobbing. The sobbing turned to crying, and you blamed it all on yourself.
