Chapters one - Grimlin kids 🤝🥲

it was a normal day at the daycare, kids running around in the ball pit, chasing each other around.

"little demons.." I chuckled a little

Sundrop trampled over to me with a parade of toddlers on him. I laughed at him with kids latched onto his legs causing him ro have trouble lifting his feet.

"HeEeElp" his voice cracked not wanting to step on any of the toddler's hands.

"uh- Who wants to play hide and seek!" I said quickly hoping nobody got hurt.

"yaaaaaaaay" all the kids cheered and scatter around the daycare.

sun was frozen, probably traumatized from all the kids.

"Are you alright sun?" I walked up to him checking him for any scratches.

"yes I'm....okay" he said before stretching his arms out, why was he even doing that he was a robot.

"you wanna seek?" he said backing up slowly

"oh c'mon I wasn't really going to play hide and seek!" I said crossing my arms.

"you cants lie the kids like that y/n, that's MEANN!" He said dramatically backing up into the playground until I couldn't see him anymore. He can be so annoying sometimes..he gives me so many mixed signals, I sighed.

"geuss I better go find everyone..." I soon as I turned around I saw a kid hiding under a slide, it was very obvious but I had to play the part...

"Hmmm...I wonder where they could be!in....here?" I checked in the slide they were under. the kid giggles, it was cute seeing them so excited,
"what about up here-?" I checked on top of the slide. " they continued giggling like I couldn't hear them.
"what about...under...HERE!" I checked under the slide. They started laughing and rolled out from under the slide.
"I got you'" I said lightly
smiling,
"okay go wait at the main playground in the front for others okay?"
"okay" they wondered off to the playground
time to find the others....

-time skip-

"I found 24 kids...how many are.." I realized I've caught everyone but sun. why does he have to be so good at hide and seek, I groaned in frustration. I went to look for him anyway because I know this is his favorite game and he loved being seeked. I made my way up the platformed stairs, he was probably deep in the playground somewhere, I climbed a rockwall that leads to the farthest part of the playground, no kids went up there cause it was dark though, I walked around to find no one in the first few hallways I turned to the last hallway, it was a dead end but might aswell check. I walked over to the end of the hallway ran into something....- someone.
"HA Got you sun!" I put my hands on what I thought were the sides of his arms.
"oh~...it seems you have..." he sounded a little different.
"s-sun?"

"wrong~ try again..."
