Hi, so I usually write random stories in my Google docs when I'm bored, but recently I've had to delete a lot of them bc of my storage. However, I'm kind of attached to a few so I'm going to be uploading them. I will be fixing them up so my uploading schedule might be a bit messy. Thank you for being patient.

Chapter 1:
Darien

I stare at the boy in front of me, admiring his beautiful face; small-slender figure, freckles covering his face, light blue eyes shimmering under the light, and his dirty blonde hair in a mini pony tail. He is the most beautiful person I know. My best friend, that I love. Elias.

Elias has always made me feel different, he makes me feel safe. Feeling his warm presence around me makes me feel more calm, like all of my worries had just disappeared.

Although I do love him, it would be weird for us to be anything more. Elias is my best friend, and we are both boys. It's impossible for two boys to be together, right?

"What are you staring at, Darien?" Elias looked over at me, finally removing his eyes from the book in his hands.

I sent him a soft smile, "Your ugly face," I answered simply.

"That's mean. I like to think that I'm quite handsome." Elias smiled, makimg his dimples beam.

"Yeah okay, keep telling yourself that buddy." I responded to him teasingly.

"Whatever," he said with a light giggle, "Anyways, you coming over today? My mom misses you." He explain while shutting his book. We were currently in the library, avoiding the hot air that awaited us outside.

"Yeah sure," I answered, "Let's stop at my house first." I stood up, letting my arms reach out to the air.

He nodded while smiling, "Yeah okay that's fine!"

Darien's House:

"Welcome home! Oh hello Elias! We missed you here!" My mom greeted us, pulling Elias into a small hug.

"It's nice to see you too! Do you mind if Darien spends the night tonight?" Elias asked, returning the hug.

"Of course. But give this to your mother for me please." My mom handed Elias some cookies.

He nodded, leaving the cookies on the counter next to his bag. Elias followed me to my room, immediately jumping into my bed. He sighed in relief, "It's been such a long school year. I'm glad this is going to be our last week." Elias exclaimed, sitting up and smiling.

I looked over at him, ray of lights coming from my window crawled on his face, making his smile even brighter, and making his pale skin lightly glow. I smiled back, "Yeah, I'm kind of scared though, for college." I responded, taking a seat next to him.

"Yeah, that reminds me, Darian, do you know what you want to be when you're older?" He asked me eagerly.

"I'm not sure. What about you?" I answered honestly.

"Hmm," He thought about my question for a few seconds, before his face lit up, "I want to be a writer! Or something along that line!" He said while smiling, before his eyes widened. "OH! And you can be my illustrator! Like draw things for me! You're really good at drawing anyways." Elias reminded me.

"That sounds amazing Elias." I responded, agreeing with him.

He smiled at me, "Yeah, we can live our adult years with each other. Or at least until we find girlfriends." He said while looking down at his hands, waiting for my response.

"Yeah. Girlfriends." I responded, still looking at him.

He looked back up at me with a worried expression, "Darian, I'm scared, I don't want to grow up just yet. I mean it felt like just yesterday we were both taking baths together in kindergarten. Now we're over here wondering if we are going to be able to afford college. I'm not ready Darian." He said sadly.

I put my hand on his, "Elias, I know it's hard growing up. But remember, I am always going to be here for you. We both have eachother, no matter what obstacles we go through." I reassured him. His frown faded, and he looked at me with a smile.

"I love you Darian," He responded. My heart skipped a beat and a small blush crawled onto my cheeks.
"You're the most amazing friend anyone could ask for." Elias laid his head on my shoulder.

My heart dropped, "Yeah." I responded.

I'm just a friend.
