Looking up at him, I saw that he was serious. "Marry me, Caitlyn" Matthew said in a dead serious tone. I barely knew this man. For God sakes he was my boss! I didn't want to marry a stranger, let alone my boss!
"Are you serious? I barely know you! We've never even kissed before." I had almost a mocking tone, which seemed to make him get angry. "I don't want to marry you for those reasons you idiot! I need to have a wife so I will be able to keep my company. I want you to be my wife." He paused, obviously wanting me to calm down
I just looked at him with a shocked look on my face. Not only did he call me an idiot, but he also expected me to agree with no questions. I guess this is what I should've expected from a billionaire CEO.
